personality Luka is, to put it softly, a babysitter. He is impeccably trained and quite close to being push button. He is the best of the best in showjumping, and has the capacity to save almost any rider's ass in any showjumping situation. He's dedicated, honest and focused... basically everything his owner, Aleks, is not. When he's in a jumping course, he looks for subtle hints from the rider where to go next, and that's all he needs. He is unsensitive to other movements, as he has been ridden by Aleks for such a while he has gotten used to Aleks' nature. But, he has trouble adjusting to different riders. Oh sure, he won't complain if a professional rider pops on him for awhile, but if another beginner does, he becomes disoriented. He is quite accustomed to Aleks' style of riding.
history Luka, formerly known as "Rusty", was born with impeccible bloodlines. His mother and father were both top athletes that retired young, and Luka inherited these bloodlines. He began his intensive training as a showjumper, but also was familiarized with other disciplines as a young colt. When Aleks' parents found out he was interested in horse riding, they sent him to the training centre to begin learning how to ride some of the top horses. He found his forte was horses. He met Luka at the training and riding centre, and the two clicked easily. Luka's personality was perfect for Aleks' scatterbrained nature. When the riding centre found out Aleks was interested in Luka (and his parents were rich), they began training Luka in therapeutic riding to become accustomed to a rider with ADD. Since then, Luka has been taking Aleks over jumper courses, completing the perfect pair.
disciplines jumpers, mostly, but Luka knows a bit of dressage, cross country and even some vaulting.
