PERSONALITY
A fiery boy, Dezzy is always dancing in place. He wants to go all the time. Jumping is his passion, and he is happiest when on the course or training. He sometimes intimidates other more inexperienced riders, but Skyla knows how to handle him perfectly. They are in understanding of each other-which is good. He’s a trickster, too. He’ll come up and nudge her with his nose then dash away, wanting a chase to ensue. Also, Dezzy will follow her like a puppy; the handsome little devil. Being part Fresien, most people think he is too big for jumping, but that’s not the case. He has an incredible amount of power, although that can hurt Skyla’s count because it can be challenging to shorten his stride sometimes. All in all, he is a superb jumper.
HISTORY
Dezzy was raised by Appleridge Farms and was bred for jumping. Once he was trained, he started jumping under saddle at 5. He learned fast, and by 7 was ready for someone to take home. This is where Skyla comes in. Once the two lock gazes, it’s love. The big beautiful horse was a stallion when Sky bought him, but after being thrown when riding in a pasture they made the decision to fix him. The two have trained together for 2 years, and both love it. Dezzy loves Sky’s firm yet gentle aura, and she loves his immediate responses. In the horse world, he’s the sleek Lamborghini. All performance.
