history Envy was born into a racing stable owned by a wealthy Italian family. Her show name means 'poisonous envy' in Italiano because her conformation was so beautiful that other racers were jealous. She did well in a couple maiden races but was much more suited to jumping. She was bought by a young competitor and trained on the junior circuit, before the girl outgrew Envy. Marcus Callum bought the mare for his son's fifteenth birthday, and Eden and Envy instantly fell in love.
