Other Family Members:
Delany Zeeke – A pole bending world champion. She happens to be a very grounded person, and is still waiting for Carver to grow up. Of course, she is doubtful he will, at this point. She has been training Carver since he was 5, in hopes he could follow in her footsteps.
Danny Zeeke – Carver’s father, a chef. Possibly one of the zaniest chef out there, though his personality does little to resemble his son’s. He hasn’t retired yet, but instead thinks he will cook until arthritis hits him. Go with the flow sort of person; drove Carver to get his first piercing. For which he was highly reprimanded by Carver’s mom.
Celeste Zeeke – Carver’s 15 year old sister. Has decided to become a sort of model instead of having anything to do with horses. She is the exact opposite of Carver-dresses nice, has no piercings and brown hair. They quarrel like siblings do, but in the end they really love each other.
They think.
Personality:
WHO DOESN’T GIVE A SHIT?
Carver is one of those people that doesn’t care what people think. At all, really. He dresses how he wants, acts how he wants, and talks how he wants. Much to the disappointment of his family, however. He’s somewhat of a delinquent, and has been arrested over 7 times. Nothing too serious, he’s wormed his way out of juvy 3 times, and that was because his father bribed them. It’s a wonder he still races poles. And loves it; but hey, it’s mainly his mother’s blood flowing through his veins.
AND IS LOYAL [[SECRETLY]]?
Yes, Carver is extremely loyal to whomever he sees fit. This includes doing whatever is best for them, may it be purposely throwing the competition, or beating the crap out of someone, he’ll do it. He doesn’t lie to those ‘on his list’, though most of them never know that they’re on his list. He’s got the rep of a bad boy, and that’s how he likes it. Though, down deep he really
isn’t all that bad.
BUT DOESN’T TAKE CRAP FROM ANYONE?
The boy doesn’t act weak if someone throws him a nasty insult, he’ll throw one right back. Carver definitely isn’t the one to be the bigger person and end the fight, he’d rather focus on winning. People tend to back off though, much to Carver’s approval. He’s the kid that everyone whispers about behind his back because of his record; but doesn’t say anything to his face. That gets to him sometimes, but usually he brushes it off carelessly. He loves to have fun; and does it in any way he can imagine. Usually it involves a dangerous stunt that his mother doesn’t approve of. But that’s normal.
Appearance:
He’s handsome; of course. His father is as well… it’s a ‘runs in the family’ sort of thing. His eyes are an intriguing pale blue, and his hair is kept short, though not a buzz cut. Carver’s dirty blonde tresses look as if he brushes them only briefly in the morning, it’s definitely the bed head look.
Being tall, though not incredibly, strangely tall, Carver has a surprisingly muscular frame. Of course, his neck isn’t bulging, but his arms are round enough, and his abs are rock hard. This makes Carver take any chance he can to take off his shirt. It’s the only area in which he’s a vain little boy. He denies it, but everybody knows it’s true.
His features are usually set in a serious expression, which happens to be natural. When he’s concentrating, Carver looks like he’s frustrated, which is never the case. But, whenever he smiles; which happens to be frequently, his features light up and his eyes gleam. Very attractive, actually. His smiles are rarely pure, and are usually fueled by some sort of devilishness or something like that. But when he smiles with a gentle nature, it takes your breath away. He has a lip piercing, which he never takes out. Only when he’s ing to bed. He used to have an eyebrow piercing, but his mother forced him to take it out, saying that one was enough. So, to rebel that rule, he went and had a tattoo of snake on his chest, right where his heart is.
What he wears is completely random. Carver sets his own fashion. His wardrobe consists of almost anything. Even though he’s straight, he has v-necks. Why? Because the girls dig him for it. Everything else is manly though. Band tees; crazy designs; whatever. Whenever he’s not riding, where he is forced to wear cowboy boots and spurs, he loves his sneakers. Vans being his favorite. He does have sunglasses on almost all the time-aviators being his choice.
History:
Carver was born on June 13, to Delany Zeeke and her husband Danny. They were convinced that Carver was all they needed and so they didn’t plan on having any more children. Of course, they revoked this about 4 years later when his sister, Celeste, was born. Anyways, we’re not to that yet.
Believe it or not, Carver was actually a good kid. Like, obedient, and trustworthy. His parents, at that time, could leave him alone in a room with a thousand dollar vase and expect it intact once they got back. They aren’t really sure when the boy turned bad, though. Hell, Carver doesn’t even know what happened. All they know is that when he turned 10, something broke. Probably his ‘good kid’ cord… or something.
He was sent to the principals’ office frequently, and she even stocked her candy bowl with extra grape jolly ranchers, just because that was Carver’s favorite. That also was the time Delany introduced him to horses. She thought it would be therapeutic for him. It was; it egged on his bad streak.
But he was good. Really good. He loved to practice, and he used his mom’s old horse. That is, until a horrible accident occurred at a competition. It was regionals, and Carver had just turned 14. The horse he had been riding since he was 10, Bandit, was getting up in his years, about 19. Bandit had been limping the week prior, but it had disappeared so Delany said it was okay for Carver to go ahead and run him. So in they went, racing to the end of the arena. Just as Bandit turned the first pole, his right hind leg slipped out from underneath him and he faltered, rolling over once.
Carver, being the idiot, held on and was nearly crushed under the massive equine. Bandit managed to regain his footing, but his hind leg had something out of whack with it, so when he tried to turn the pole, he couldn’t; thus freaking him out. He scrabbled up again, this time throwing a dazed Carver into the pole-head first.
In short, Bandit broke his leg in his crazy antics, and was forced to be put down. Carver suffered a major concussion and stayed home from school for almost two weeks. After that, things got worse. Carver got his first piercing, and then his first tattoo. He became more involved with the law, and Delany tried to fix it by buying him a horse. It was well welcomed, but it didn’t fix Carver.
With the new horse, the boy climbed to the top of the pole bending world, and with that came a letter prompting him to attend Windsor Academy. Much to his mother’s delight, he accepted. Now all he wants to do is keep his place at the top. That and surprise everyone.
