CHRISTINE WHITE – Skyla’s mother. Really more of a ‘Wow, I thought she died.’ Sort of person. Christy was top of the Cross Country Jumping charts; and loving it. She soaked it up, and learned quickly. All her life she had been training hard and it paid off. Big time. Until, of course, a horribly disgusting fall. Her 17 hand horse freaked in front of a jump; sending her into the air. Good news? She cleared the jump with several feet’s clearance. Bad news? Broken collarbone, leg, and arm. After months of recoup, Christy just didn’t stand a chance. Her name was forgotten too soon. So she retired; especially after becoming pregnant with Skyla at 24.
CARSON WHITE – Skyla’s father. He loves his little princess, and when she shows interest in horses, he encouraged Christy to train her. She did, thinking Sky would grow out of the phase. She didn’t. So Carson made sure he could do everything he could in order to make his baby succeed. The best stables. The best horses. The best role models. And so he helped fund the launching of Skyla’s expensive hobby.

Bubbly. Curious. A little insane. Outspoken.
She’s the one girl that intrigues or disgusts people. There is no mutual feelings for the girl. Most people find her delightful; but not everyone. She loves to be witty and sarcastic. She’ll make someone laugh and ease up the saddest or most awkward moments. A little bit nosy, Skyla ALWAYS has to figure out what is up. She’ll be a super ninja if she has to. Whatever it takes. Determination also makes her up, and once she sets her mind to something; she does everything to succeed. Insane. Just a tad. She sometimes walks into things. Pull when it says push. Get stuck in a revolving door. Walk up/down the wrong escalator just for a little fun. Anything she wants. Always talking, she’ll be the one to say what everybody thinks but doesn’t want to say. Also, she doesn’t take crap from no one. At all. The most out of the blue, stinging comebacks come from the slender girl-she even surprises herself sometimes. She has a tendency to enjoy things which some consider to be ‘illegal’. If a tall fence with barb wire around it says ‘DO NOT ENTER’, she’ll hop right over it. Always looking for excitement, really. Overall, she’s an eccentric, witty, contagious sort of girl.
Appearance:
Skyla is pretty, actually. Not in an orange, fake, plastic trash sort of way. In a natural way. Her hair is almost always straight, and cut in choppy layers. Extending to about 5” past her shoulders, she also has long bangs that sweep across her forehead. It’s a light brown color that glints a deep honey when the sunlight catches it. Her skin is a smooth tan tinted color, which is natural as well. Her face is oval shaped, with large hazel eyes and a straight nose. Her lips are sort of thin, but they suit her face perfectly. Riding horses has kept her in good shape, even though she has always been slight. Sky doesn’t really have curves; rather slim dips in her figure. Nothing really spectacular about her. But then again, most people rethink that once they meet her.
History:
Skyla was a slight preemie, only a week early. But, she was pretty much fine, so the doctors sent her home with a clean bill of health. Christy; Sky’s mother, was ecstatic. Her first little child a beautiful baby girl! Her father was just as happy. He finally had his own little princess. As Sky grew, her parents agreed that one was enough, so Sky officially became an only child.
The older she grew, the more interested she was in the family’s barn. When her mother retired, she inherited her parents training facility. So Christy gave lessons to a select few. The stable didn’t have that many horses; only one. Christy’s older thoroughbred cross Glancy. Skyla fell in love with the gentle boy when she was 7. After watching her mother take girls over jumps, she decided to try with Glancy. It looked so easy. So when the trained horse jumped the 7" inch pole Sky had set, it was a surprise that the girl held on.
Of course, she bumped her face into his rapidly bobbing neck. Which equaled a very nasty nose bleed. But, her mother agreed to train her. Especially if it would stop anymore Glancy incidents. Skyla would soon grow out of the phase. Jumping was serious work. So they started. And when Skyla turned 15, and still hadn’t gotten tired of it, it was obvious she was serious. And good. Skyla was quickly rising to the top, but Glancy was holding her back. Sky needed a horse with more spunk, resolve, and determination.
So, after horse shopping for several months, Red Rum’s Rendezvous was found. The black gelding was lively. He was gorgeous. And he serious potential. So they bought the 7 year old, and Sky has been training with him ever since. The two are perfect together, and soon soared to the top. So when Sky turned 17, she made the decision to take Windsor Academy up on their offer; and go. The girl said good bye to her friends and packed up Dezzy, and a few back up horses. Off to bigger things.
