i can be alone, yeah i can watch the sunset, on my own, i can be alone.
Liza Cody was a nerd. Okay, maybe not a stereotypical, "I have a pocket protector and carry around a protractor" nerd, but she definitely was one. I mean, what other type of person would rather spend her time in a God forsaken library rather than out partying with friends on a Friday night? Liza wasn't exactly the partying type. At the library, she fit right in, like sliding into a glove. She didn't have to worry about awkward moments or saying the wrong thing or having to worry what on Earth a member of the opposite sex was thinking of her. Parties were too stressful and socially demanding for Liza, so she preferred to wander down the aisles in the library.
She always chose something like a biography on a fashion designer, or a big, thick issue of Runway, which was one of the most popular magazines in the fashion industry run by one of Liza's favourite designers. She liked to reflect a style of a designer or a particular trend that run on the runway in normal clothes. It gave her clothes a touch of something wacky and zany, which mirrored her personality perfectly. Today, while sitting in a plush comfy chair in a small alcove next to a few mahogany-coloured bookshelves, she wore a simple light blue romper with faded flowers on it and a long jacket which made her look taller. White flats with girly ruffles on them completed the outfit. It was simple, yet Liza loved it. Coupled with a French braid that entwined in her soft auburn locks and a white knit hat which sat too far back on her head, she looked dressed to go out rather than to go to the library.
Today, she had pulled out a fat summer issue of Runway that was about a year old, hoping she could pull some past inspiration for some new outfits from it. She had brought along her sketchbook to sketch some potential ideas in. She stretched the issue out on her lap, laying the sketchbook next to her on a small side table. There was a few empty chairs across from her, but from the looks of the sparse population milling around the library, they probably wouldn't be filled. Really, she should be out with friends... unfortunately, she hadn't come to make many, save for Olivia, since she came. She stuffed her nose into the issue of Runway, becoming immersed in the beautiful colours and patterns.

EDEN CALLUM; Just looking for some answers In a world that answers none of them at all I'll say, "Hi," but not reply To the letters that you write Because I found some peace of mind. ________________________________________________________________________
Eden liked the library. It was cosy, like being surrounded by thousands of friends, all quietly wanting your attention. He smiled as he entered the building. The Windsor Campus Library was one of the nicest he'd seen in his life. It had a big mezzanine running along the top, the the ground floor was brightly lit, shelves running off the length of the huge building. The mezzanine was a little dimmer, for ambience, he guessed. The shelves were wooden, a dark pine polished to perfection. There was a big information desk manned by a couple well-dressed librarians, the type to wear glasses on neck-chains and matching cardigan sets. He tucked his hands into his back pockets and wandered vaguely around the library, passing a few students as he did so. Most students were at the stables, or out enjoying the nice weather, but there were a couple in the library. Eden went to the staircase leading up to the mezzanine and took the stairs curiously, his blue Vans making little noise on the planks. He was dressed casual, as he usually was, in jeans and a plain blue tee, zipped under a light jacket. His black glasses were perched on his face and his dark hair was different than usual. It normally lay flat across his forehead but today it was doing an odd fauxhawk type thing, and no matter what he did he couldn't get it to look like it regularly did. Ah well. Eden wasn't one to stress about much, so he just let it be.
Reaching the top of the staircase, he began browsing through the shelves. He was delighted to discover that he was in the equine section; as in, the entire mezzanine was dedicated to equine books. There were books on riding, on horse care, on anatomy, on technique, on dressage, on jumping, on types of jumping, even an entire book dedicated to perfecting your jumping seat. Eden was like a kid in a candy shop. He piled his arms full with books and settled himself in an armchair to read. After only a few minutes he was squinting in the dim light. He just couldn't see properly. With a little sigh he gathered up his stack of books and made his way carefully down the stairs. The last thing he wanted was to tumble headfirst down the staircase, books and all. Which was something Eden was very capable of. He was definitely not the most sure-footed person around. I'm just saying, if you had to elect someone to walk across a four-inch beam, almost anyone would do better than Eden. Which isn't a very probably circumstance, but hey.
He spotted a collection of armchairs, scattered around a couple of side tables. The armchairs looked deliciously comfy. There was probably about twelve chairs, and only one was occupied, by an auburn-haired girl reading a ridiculously thick magazine. Eden couldn't begin to fathom what topic would be so important that they had to cut down that many trees just to document it. Probably something girly, like fashion. Eden was definitely not a fashion type guy. The only brand he could currently remember was Vans, and that was only because he was watching them carry him across the floor. He watched his steps carefully to make sure he didn't trip and drop his stack of books. With a small sigh of relief he settled into a chair opposite the girl, situating the books on a table in front of him. He gave a polite smile to the girl, not wanting to interrupt her from her reading, and pulled the top book toward him. It was on different breeds, and eagerly Eden began reading about the Arabian. He tucked his legs underneath him and pushed his glasses up on his nose. The library was quiet and calm. He thought he could hear a little rain outside. He wondered what time it was. He sighed happily. Reading, in a warm library, in the world's most comfortable chair. This was exactly where he wanted to be right now. Doing something familiar in a place that was so unfamiliar. He felt content. ________________________________________________________________________

Olivia lived at the library. She lived for the library. Or any place the had endless shelves of books and big comfy chairs. She gave Sorry the day off and turned him loose in his paddock so that she could come and smell the library smells. She trotted up the walk to the building in a pair of her favourite western boots that were well worn and would need to be retired. Soon. She pushed open the door and as one of the women at the front desk where the section of horse books were located, as she wasn't completely familiar with this library yet. She followed her directions and soon found herself among her favourite kind of books. She pulled one from the self and looked at the cover, a biography about Stacy Westfall. This would suit her fancy for today. Olivia turned from the shelf in search of a comfy chair or couch, or even a desk. She scanned the area and found two people already seated in chairs. She didn't really want to join and interrupt, although they weren't talking and it wouldn't really be interrupting. She talked herself into it.
When she got to one of the empty chairs she realised that the girl was Liza Cody, one of the first people she had met at Windsor. She gave her a small smile and whispered Hi. to her before sitting down. She also noticed a boy in the chair across from her and Olivia gave him a small wave and smile instead of being rude and ignoring him completely. Olivia sat sideways in her chair, her legs hanging over the arm of it and finally situated herself. She sort of wondered why she had worn jeans to the library, breeches or jodpurs would've been more comfortable for sitting in this position. She mentally shrugged and kept reading. She had dressed rather bum today - a close fitting sweatshirt, jeans, her boots, and her hair was twisted wildly into some sort of bun.
Seth wandered through the library mindlessly. He enjoyed roaming and finding a book that he wouldn't normally pick up. His converse made quiet padding noises as he walked up and down the rows and rows of shelves. He wore a plaid buttoned shirt that had the sleeves rolled up was unbuttoned, revealing a white beader tank top underneath. His jeans were grabbed from his dirty pile of laundry, but they still looked good enough to wear, which was what he was doing.
He found three people settled down into chairs and reading books, one girl even had a sketch book with her as she flipped through a magazine. Her hair was neatly braided and Seth found her to have a cute face. He thought he might have caught her eye and gave her a warm smile, his eyes lighting up. The other girl he knew he'd seen around the barn before. He recalled that she owned the friendly paint. She wore sweatshirt and wild hair was cute too, but Seth still found the sketchbook girl to be more interesting to him, especially with her zany style. The other guy he hadn't seen around at all, and he seemed rather cool himself. Seth so wished he could've brought his guitar with him and pluck out a good tune for them, but that was definitely not allowed. Seth stood at the shelf opposite sketchbook girl, sneaking a peek when he hoped she wasn't looking.

i can be alone, yeah i can watch the sunset, on my own, i can be alone.
The issue of Runway fell into her lap easily, and practically put her in a trance. She had found a spread completely centered over the trend of white lace. It was everywhere. Ahhh... lace, Liza found herself smiling to herself. For a piece she had put together a little while ago, she made the shirt entirely out of a lace slip that hugged the body, and pretty white bandeau covering the chest. It was semi-see through but the bandeau made it flattering and tasteful. The reason she happened to like designing so much was that each outfit became an intricate work of art. She liked creating and making something out of nothing.
As she flipped the pages, she became vaguely aware someone was approaching. She glanced up, meeting the boy's eye. She seemed to recall the face from the barn or something... possibly from lectures she had attended already. He had a cute face and hair that stood up in small tufts on his head. He gave her a small smile and took a seat opposite to her. She smiled back and gave an awkward wave, then immediately wondered why she had waved at him. She hadn't met him before. She couldn't help but sneak a peak at his book as he sat - it was a horse book from the almighty mezzanine, the glorious top floor in which contained all things horsey. She mentally debated whether she should say hi or not, weighing the pros - meeting a new person and the cons - probably causing an awkward conversation in which Liza looked way more like a doof than an actual functioning person. She made her decision, and took a breath.
"Arabians, huh? They're so gorgeous. Do you have one?" She asked gently, marvelling at how normal she actually sounded. She was going to try not to screw this up. Just as she uttered the phrase, another person walked over. She seemed to have chosen a popular spot - the collection of armchairs was becoming more populated. She noticed the person's face as they sat and realized it was Olivia. "Hi Olivia!" She smiled, relieved to see a familiar face. Another boy wandered over as well, one with very curly hair. He caught her eye and she smiled wide at him. She glanced down at her sketch, shading in the thin, tall frame of a model's shoulder with the pencil gripped in her index and thumb, her mind reeling. Wow, Friday night... who would have guessed?

EDEN CALLUM; Just looking for some answers In a world that answers none of them at all I'll say, "Hi," but not reply To the letters that you write Because I found some peace of mind. ________________________________________________________________________
The Arabian is a breed of horse that originated on the Arabian Peninsula. With a distinctive head shape and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most easily recognizable horse breeds in the world. It is one of the oldest horse breeds, with archaeological evidence of horses that resemble modern Arabians dating back 4,500 years. Eden widened his eyes. Holy shit. That was a damn long time. He had known that the breed was one of the oldest, but that was old. He shifted a little in his chair, scooching his butt out from the back of the chair so he could slouch comfortably. He was putting a lot of knee into his jeans by folding his legs under him like this, but they were old jeans and he didn't really think they would mind. He usually wore them for doing odd jobs around the stable or just everyday wear. The knees were already a little baggy so he wasn't too worried. A girl walked up to them and seated herself next to the auburn-haired girl with the thick magazine. The two exchanged friendly hello's; obviously they already knew each other. Eden watched curiously from over the top of his book. The new girl smiled and gave him a little wave, like the first girl had. Eden smiled and returned the little wave of hello, before grasping the side of the book again. He continued reading.
Throughout history, Arabian horses spread around the world by both war and trade, used to improve other breeds by adding speed, refinement, endurance, and strong bone. Today, Arabian bloodlines are found in almost every modern breed of riding horse... Another boy had walked up. He looked around Eden's age, and he looked musical. There was something about him that screamed 'I play guitar'. Eden also played the instrument. Maybe sometime he could invite the boy to a jam session. They were always fun and a great way to spend your time. The guitar guy looked interestedly at the auburn-haired girl. Eden was going to have to give them mental nicknames, this was just too confusing. Peering over the top of his book, he watched as Guitar Guy watched Auburn-Haired Girl as he pretended to pick out a book. Auburn-Haired Girl smiled at him and made sketch lines on her notepad. Sideways Girl (named for the odd way she was situated in her chair) was off in her own world, reading contentedly. Eden decided to follow suit. Nothing much was happening. Auburn-Haired Girl was sketching quietly and Guitar Guy was picking out a book. He cast his eyes back to the page he was on and kept reading.
There was a voice. Eden looked up and his eyes landed on Auburn-Haired Girl, who was talking to him in a soft, singsong voice. He smiled at her. He was definitely up for making some friends. They sure are. No, actually, mine's a Thoroughbred. His voice was soft. Eden was used to talking in libraries, he knew the drill. He leaned forward so his voice wouldn't have to carry as far and put the book in his lap, thumb marking the page he was on. What about you? What's yours? He asked, of course referring to the breed of her horse. There was nothing Eden loved more than chatting about horses, particularly his wonderful mare. He could talk about Envy all day. He smiled at Auburn-Haired Girl, curious to hear about her horse. He could even look up it's breed if she was interested. ________________________________________________________________________

Olivia smiled, glad that Liza gave her such an enthusiastic response. She looked back down at her book and pretended to read it, while she was actually just skimming it and listening to the other boy talk to Liza. He seemed really nice, and quite into horses. Olivia looked up and saw a dark haired boy tracing his finger along the shelves near them, semi-stalking Liza, it seemed like. At least in a selfish way she hoped it was Liza and not herself he was stalking. He looked kind of cute just the same.
She looked back down to her book and tried to re-situate herself in her chair, but realised her foot was asleep. She glared at her brown booted left foot and twisted into a normal sitting position and shook her foot around without trying to draw attention. Olivia didn't want to seem like she was interrupting Liza and Other Boy's conversation on purpose, so she quit shaking her foot and sighed, pulling her book a little closer to her and actually reading this time.
Seth was still watching her. The way she answered the other girl, Olivia's, hello, the way she gripped her pencil. In his defense he was merely observing the situation. Seth was quite good at that when he was on the outside of something. He watched as Olivia shifted herself and appeared to be waking her foot up. He half smiled, knowing the numbness one gets. He looked back to the shelf and found he was looking at a shelf full of music books for all types of instruments. Score one for Seth! he whispered to himself. He quickly scanned and found a guitar book full of songs by The Beatles and began flipping through it.
He wanted to occupy the other chair, to join in on the conversation. He knew it was rude but he still wanted to. Instead, Seth thought of a different kind of approach to that. He wandered toward the Olivia girl and stood a few feet away from her and read the title of her book. Stacy Westfall. She rides western, right? he asked her, looking down. Olivia nodded and gave him a small smile. She's one of my favourite riders. she replied, sizing him up.

i can be alone, yeah i can watch the sunset, on my own, i can be alone.
She didn't mind abandoning Runway for a moment. Although there seemed to be no better companion than a fashion magazine, it was nice to have human company. She knew that most normal human beings would probably not share her not quite normal sentiments in finding a magazine to be the best companion, however she knew most would understand the warmth of meeting new people. She also knew that she had never been good at this before, yet it seemed to come somewhat naturally.
The boy who was reading the magazine about Arabians was kind of cute. He wasn't really hot, per say, but he was definitely cute in the quirky, nerdy sort of way. Her glance trailed to the other boy who seemed more and more interested in her drawings. Feeling slightly self conscious, she flipped the page to a new page. It was not meant as a message that he was unwelcome, but more out of habit. Drawings were personal, but that didn't mean they couldn't be shared if asked. She noticed that the other boy - the curly haired one - was kind of cute too. He had thick black hair and an honest face.
She heard the horse-book boy reply to her, and looked up at him. He had a Thoroughbred, he said. "Ah, Thoroughbreds. They're so talented, but, stereotypically speaking, hot heads. " She chuckled lightly. She had only ridden a few in her life. One in particular - Olliver - had been one of her favourite mounts but had also dumped her in front of a jump more time than she could count. "I have an Oldenburg." She replied to his question. Remembering she had forgotten to introduce herself, she quickly added, "I'm Liza by the way." Liza glanced over at Olivia and curly-headed boy again, feeling the need to include them in the conversation. They both seemed kind of quiet. "Umm.." she began, trying to figure out a way to speak to them without sounding like a creeper. "What about you guys? Olivia, you have a paint, right?" She asked. She remembered meeting Olivia's rather lively but perfectly adorable paint when she first came to Sycamore. status open notes teehee, I love this character. (: [/blockquote]

Eden blinked as some sort of dust mote thing flew into his eye. Trying not to look like a total spastic he rapidly opened and shut his eyelids, attempting to flush the irritant out. His eye welled up with tears and he gave a little sigh as the speck of dust was removed. Glad that it was gone, Eden wiped the salty tears from his eye and accepted the fact that he looked like a dweeb. He couldn't even carry on a normal conversation without something happening to reveal his true, dorky nature. It was something he had resigned himself to a while ago, and now he just accepted it with a little sigh of blah. Sigh of blah? He didn't even know how he felt. Tired, a little. He had stayed up quite late the night before; Envy had decided not to eat her dinner, and Eden worried constantly about the mare. She was the type of horse who was so slight and slender that skipping a meal was not in the picture. Envy needed all the weight she could keep. Her Thoroughbred bloodlines meant weight slid off her like jelly. Eden had to keep her well-fed to keep her in shape. He had spent the whole night coaxing, bribing, and threatening her to eat, until finally she gave in and gobbled the mash. By the time he made it back to his dorm, it was nearly midnight, and he still had a bunch of study to do for his physics class. When his stupid chemical equations and notes on speed versus time were done, it was nearing two am, and Eden had only been too grateful to slide under his sheets and drift off into sleep.
He dragged his attention back to Auburn-Haired Girl, who was smiling and addressing him. Eden gave a little knowing smile as she spoke of Thoroughbreds being hotheads. Amen to that. Envy was one of the less-douchey Thoroughbreds in the world, but compared to other breeds she was still rather flighty. Last night's dinner episode was proof of that. He nodded in interest as she mentioned her Oldenburg. Eden had never seen the breed; he had seen dozens of pictures, but never an actual Oldenburg horse, in the flesh. It would be interesting to see one. Eden was keen to ask her if he could visit her horse sometime, and had opened his mouth to tentatively do so, when she spoke again. Aah, so Auburn-Haired Girl had a name. It was pretty. He redirected the words flowing to his mouth and replied. Eden, he said with a slight incline of his head and a little smile. It's nice to meet you. He said honestly. It really was nice to meet someone as friendly as Liza, particularly a friendly someone who hung out in the library on Friday nights. That was the kind of someone that Eden felt comfortable around.
Liza directed the conversation toward Sideways Girl and Guitar Guy now, including them in the conversation. Eden cast his eyes curiously to Sideways Girl, apparently named Olivia. He smiled a soft little grin at her, encouraging her to join in. While he waited, Eden felt his eyes drifting back down toward the page open on his lap. The Arabian developed in a desert climate and was prized by the nomadic Bedouin people, often being brought inside the family tent for shelter and protection. This close relationship with humans has created a horse breed that is good-natured, quick to learn, and willing to please. But the Arabian also developed the high spirit and alertness needed in a horse used for raiding and war. This combination of willingness and sensitivity requires modern Arabian horse owners to handle their horses with competence and respect. Eden liked the idea of sleeping next to your horse. Aside from the risk of being crushed in the night, it sounded like a lovely idea. He had often taken naps in Envy's stall, but his mother had never allowed him to spend the night at the stables. Now that he was at Windsor, he might just do it. ________________________________________________________________________

Olivia nodded and looked to Eden and the other boy. Yup. I've got a paint that barrel races and show jumps. You guys? she asked. She figured that Eden probably show jumped with his thoroughbred, but the other boy hadn't said anything else to any of them about his horse. Did he even really have a horse? Or was it just an easy way out from his house or something? She also wondered if his guitar thing was some kind of stunt. Like an easy way to lure in the ladies. Olivia wasn't sure if she would give in to a good looking guy playing the guitar, but then again, she'd never been around one.
Olivia leaned against the back of her comfy chair and straightened her jeans, tossing her book down with a thud on the table in front of them. She heaved a content sigh and gave the two boys and Liza a small smile. Oh, I'm Olivia, by the way. she added.
Seth settled in the last unoccupied chair and wanted to pass out when Liza looked to them all to join in on the conversation. She was pretty as a picture to him. Though, he hadn't seen any of the other girls from the school very closely, either. He gave Liza a smile and looked at Olivia as she told about her horse. Barrel racing. Cool. Seth was always entertained by such a sport, but obivously never competed in it. She finished and he looked at the other boy, Eden, thinking he might take his turn, but Seth decided to just jump in. I'm Seth. I have a thoroughbred cross. I show jump mostly. A smidge cross country. he said, holding his fingers close together in front of his face.
fyi i pulled that straight from my butt. meh.

i can be alone, yeah i can watch the sunset, on my own, i can be alone.
The quiet of the library soothed her. There was something about libraries, about just being around books that made her content. It seemed that every book was like the perfect boyfriend - always waiting for your return, never seeking love but always loving in return. Everytime she opened a book, a magazine, it was like new, young love. It was wonderful. The feeling in the library reflected this - a peaceful happiness. Of course, when rowdy hooligans decided to ignore the librarians, it was a different story. But on a Friday night, there was none of that. Just people who wanted to be there.
"Eden... like, the Garden of Eden." She thought out loud. Well, that was weird. She thought to herself. She realized that Eden might not actually be familiar with Christianity and religion and all that shit. There was a slight pause in conversation before she added, "It's a pretty name." Liza's gaze fell onto Olivia, who introduced herself. Liza was content to have her join the conversation. She also liked that she was speaking rather smoothly, and taking to people much easier than usual. Usually, it was a struggle to connect with others because she was forever awkward, strange and introverted. But maybe, just maybe, she had underestimated her own ability. She might actually possess the capacity to make friends. Her line of sight jumped to the curly headed boy, who introduced himself as Seth. He seemed nice, in a quiet sort of way. The way she was nice. She heard the comments about their horses, and nodded. "That's really cool." She said to Seth and Olivia both. In her meticulous, careful nature, she thought of another conversation point to cover that would apply to everyone and that everyone could participate in. "How are you guys liking Windsor so far?" She asked, again to no one in particular. It was a good topic to start with - safe for everyone, and could also possibly reveal more about themselves. She was excited. Internally, of course. Externally might be a little... random. status open notes physics sucks. don't ever do it, Larapants. haha! (: The last sentence above makes me giggle. [/blockquote]

He gave a shy little smile as Liza complimented his name. Eden liked it, although he would never admit it. It was unusual, and cute, like him. His parents had chosen well. Thinking about this, he wondered what his parents were doing right now. His father, Marcus, was probably at work, making important phone calls to rich clients and making eyes at his secretary. His mother, Vanessa, was undoubtedly shopping. Eden could practically pinpoint her in his mind, standing inside Tiffany & Co, trying to decide between a bracelet and a set of earrings, and just buying both. He smiled at the thought. His parents were undoubtedly messed up, but whose weren't? Everyone had dysfunctional families, and he loved his parents, despite their obvious flaws. Liza's voice brought him back to the present, and Eden refocused his vision on his three companions. He smiled at Olivia and Seth, formerly Sideways Girl and Guitar Guy. It was nice to know their names.
Eden looked around at the four of them, chilling in a library on a Friday night instead of out partying somewhere. He liked it. Libraries were nicer when you knew that the people there wanted to be there. He could see himself becoming really friends with these people. They obviously all had things in common, and they were all quite shy. He liked knowing that there were other people like him at Windsor. Speaking of Windsor, Liza was questioning him about how he felt about it. Eden thought about this. What wasn't to love? It was huge, and exciting, and beautiful. Envy loved it. He liked training at this prestigious academy, and knowing that he was a Windsor student. And, of course, the people. One person in particular. Eden smiled as he thought of Skyla White. He could hear her laugh, see her bright hazel eyes waiting for him to react to some silly thing she'd done. Sky was definitely a major drawcard for Windsor.
I love it, he said quietly, his words carefully thought out before being voiced. He didn't want to come across as some overenthusiastic freak, but he didn't want to not do Windsor justice, if that made sense. It's the best place I've ever been to. That was saying something. Eden's father owned Callum Enterprises, the huge worldwide hotel chain, and Eden had stayed in almost every hotel over his lifetime. London, Paris, Tokyo, New York, Dubai, and hundreds of others. But Windsor was his favourite place, he wasn't lying when he said that. It was beautiful, and grand, but also comfortable and homey. He could wake up, step out his front door and be in Envy's stall in under five minutes. It was practically a dream come true, and the soft smile on Eden's face described it perfectly. ________________________________________________________________________

Olivia nodded in agreement with Eden's comment. Definitely. I like being here. Everyone and everything's awesome. Olivia said. It's true. Windsor was really awesome. The stables were the best she'd ever seen, which was a change from some of the smaller stables she'd seen at home. Everyone she'd met so far, in terms of faculty and staff were very helpful. The students that she had met she had become friends with. Although, she probably hadn't met all of them. At least, most everyone is awesome. I'm sure there are some kids I won't get along with...I haven't found them yet. she added with a lighthearted chuckle and shrug.
She hoped that she wouldn't have a run in with anyone she didn't like. She tried to get along with everyone, but that was never always possible. The first class she had been in the guy she was sitting next to wasn't all that friendly to her. Once that girl, what was her name? Skyla. Yeah, once she came in the three of them sort of got along. Olivia still wasn't sure if he was being nice to impress Skyla, but he had been nice to her the rest of the class, and Olivia couldn't argue with that. Olivia looked at Seth, who had cleared his throat a bit before he spoke.
Uh, yeah. It's nice here. Seth tried a small smile. He looked at Liza but knew he wouldn't be able to look at her pretty face for long before he lost his words. He looked down at the magazine in her lap, then to Eden, then to Olivia. I've only met you guys so far. He looked around at everyone again and gave anothe small smile. He bit his lip and tried to find his words, why were they so hard to come by? After playing guitar almost all his life and singing in front of people, he hardly got nervous. Until he sat in the presence of Liza, apparently. And you guys seem pretty awesome to me. he added, along with a nervous laugh at the end. Seth usually added that when things got a little awkward for him. He tried to pull himself together. This practically never happened to him, and he'd seen a lot of pretty girls around back home.
FYI: i'm done!

As they talked about how excellent Windsor was, Liza's mind couldn't help but wander. The school was so big, so immaculate. All the people here were the best of the best in riding. She couldn't help but wonder how exactly she had made it into the school. She was definitely a good rider, but when she applied, she had no clue the amount of raw talent the school had to offer. Even the instructors were just full of pure talent, giving you the best pointers and directions on horses than any other person.
So Liza's answer to the question was very much similar to Eden's, Olivia's and Seth's answer. She, too, was impressed and amazed by this wonderful school. It was far from home which was hard, and expensive, but such a whirlwind of resources and instructors and horses she needed to become the absolute best rider she could become. It said something if the school had a two story library, not to mention all the other places it had. Liza had tried out the jumps in the jumping ring and they were incredible. She couldn't help but love this school.
"I agree. It's been absolutely fabulous being here. Of course, it's hard being away from home sometimes, but I guess it's good to grow up and seperate myself from my family for a little while. What about you? Missing your families?" She asked, curious to see what they would answer. She wasn't homesick, per say, but her family had been quite close knit ever since her mother left, and Liza had always been the baby to her father, so it was hard to leave him alone when her older sister and older brother had already left.
