There are no stars out tonight The moon's a little weak too The trains echo in the background World spins slow tonight -- My Genuine Find
For some reason, Sky was not having a good dream. Her beautiful gelding, Dezzy had obtained cancer, and had died within a few minutes. The girl was crying in a lone little room, th only object being a large, plush couch. She wasn't exactly sure why there was a couch, but she was curled up on it, tears streming down her face. Then, suddenly, Eden was there and he was holding her. Holding her so tight, yet so gentle. He rocked her gently as she cried, the tears slowly down and she was reduced to sniffling. After a few moments she felt lips on her own, and she froze. Then, in a split second, she softened, following Eden's movements. The only thought that raced through her mind was So that's what the couch was for. The teenager was thoroughly enjoying her dream now, getting the most that she could out of it. The slumbering girl let out a sigh in her sleep, snuggling closer to Eden. Just when she had her hands under his shirt, she woke up. Groggily, she blinked, annoyed that her dream had ended. She turned over on her other side, a small moan escaping her lips. And then confusion hit. Shouldn't Eden be next to her? She opened her eyes sleepily, not even aware that she had closed them. Eden was on the other side of the bed, sleeping on his back. "Hey." She squealed indignantly, sliding over to where he was. "Why'd you move?" Her gaze was on his lips, still remembering her dream. The girl pressed a gentle kiss next to his ear, letting her teeth graze the sensitive skin there for a brief moment. Before she went any further, the teenager realized that morning breath was looming over all of her fun. With a sigh, she dragged herself out of bed, and trudged to his bathroom. Not bothering to shut the door behnd her, she rummaged through everything until she found what she was looking for. Mouthwash. Pouring a bit into the little cup, she dumped that into her mouth and swished it around for a minute or so. After she couldn't take the burn anymore, she spit it out, turning on the faucet to wash the gross mixture down the drain. Skyla put up the mouthwash and exited the bathroom, making her way back to the bed in a more awake state. Now that her mouth was clean and smelled nice, she hopped onto the bed, giving Eden a semi-awake smile. On all fours, she crawled up to him until she was beside him. Then, on a whim, she straddled him, still on all fours, smirking down at him. Leaning her head down she placed a soft kiss on his lips, pulling at his plump, soft bottom lip when she raised her head. A smirk still danced dangerously on her lips as she spoke. "I had a dream. A good dream." She said, bending down to kiss him again. Butterflies flung themselves around her stomach as she did so, her heart pounding out an unsteady rythem. This kiss was different from the last. She pushed into him, tilting her head to kiss him deeper. It felt so good to kiss him. Like some sort of release. A hand flew to his head and planted itself in his soft brown locks, which were messy from sleep. It was a good minute or so before she ran out of breath and raised her head for a second time. She was still on all fours, and the girl let out a small giggle. If she had done it right, it wouldn't be her that had to engage the next kiss. Usually, she could drive a boy crazy. Crazy enough to tackle her with a passionate kiss. That was, if she did it right.

EDEN CALLUM; And I've always lived like this, keeping a comfortable distance And up until now I had sworn to myself that I'm content with loneliness. Because none of it was ever worth the risk, well you are, The only exception, you are the only exception. ________________________________________________________________________
He fixated on the ceiling, staring hard at it, until his eyes began to close and his mind began to slip away. Eden was just about to tumble back into sweet unconsciousness again when the blankets moved and Sky rolled over. Her groggy little moan was so cute he wanted to vomit. He forced his eyes open, waking up by degrees as she indignantly squealed at discovering he was no longer wrapped around her. He turned his head to watch her shuffle about, a small smile on his face. He didn't answer her question. What would he say? 'Sorry, I had to move because sleeping next to you gave me an erection'? Yeah, I don't think so. Instead, Eden kept his silence, keeping his eyes on Sky as she snuggled up to his side and kissed the side of his face softly, nipping delicately at the skin. His arm came around her absent-mindedly as he let his eyes flutter closed, revelling in the absurdly wonderful feeling of her teeth on his skin. It didn't take long before he felt the familiar stir of heat in his stomach, and his eyes flew open in horror. Luckily, Sky chose that moment to disappear, moving to the bathroom and rummaging around for something. Eden ignored her and instead pictured his grandma eating roadkill.
It was horrific, and it worked. He let himself relax. Damn, he had just gotten rid of two in the space of five minutes. He was some kind of legend. Pleased with himself, Eden stretched out his long body, grazing the wall behind him with his fingertips. He plumped up his pillow and folded his hands behind his head, thinking about the day ahead. It was Sunday. He didn't have any homework that couldn't be ignored. They could do whatever they wanted. He began scheduling their morning, beginning with changing and meeting at the stables to take care of the horses. Then maybe they could go out for breakfast, and return for a midday ride. A hack might be nice, after yesterday's strenuous training session. Envy deserved a break, and a trail ride would be the perfect relaxant. Eden was content, planning out how he would fill his hours today. Suddenly the mattress dipped, and he looked down to see Sky perched on the edge of the bed, smiling at him. Reflexively he grinned back, keeping his head cradled on his hands. Sky crawled toward him on all fours. The movement reminded him of his mother's Siamese cat, a beautiful creature that had an air of splendidness about it, as if it knew it was beautiful and acted accordingly. Eden watched the girl with curiosity as she paused beside him, watching him intently, before swinging a leg over his middle and straddling him like he was her damn horse. Eden's heart rate immediately leapt into over drive, pounding out a staccato rhythm that almost hurt with it's intensity. His breathing rapidly increased as Sky leant down and was cut off as she kissed him, catching his bottom lip between her teeth and tugging gently. Eden stared up at her in wonder, his body working overtime, pounding blood and oxygen around his cells inhumanly fast. This girl was going to kill him eventually.
Eden thought he might welcome death, if Sky was the one to administer it. He wondered what had gotten into her, and had his answer the second he'd thought the question. Ahh. He swallowed, hard. So did I, he murmured in reply. That was the problem. His dream had been too good, and now it looked like his dream was coming true. Which was definitely not a bad thing, but when he could barely keep control of himself, it was a hard thing. Which was what he was becoming. Eden willed himself to get it under control, but before he could fully picture maggots crawling over a dead kitten, Sky was kissing him again. His eyes flew shut immediately and he kissed back, instinct taking over and controlling his movements. His hands, situated under his head, moved and lightly gripped her hips. He strained upward underneath her, pleased when her hands tangled in his hair. Sky pulled away from him and watched him patiently, like she was waiting for something. Hormones took over and Eden didn't hesitate, rolling her over and pressing his body flush against hers. He claimed her lips and could feel himself getting carried away. It was no fun kissing while imagining dead animals and cafeteria mystery meat, but it was the only way Eden could keep control of himself. His control was slipping, and his eyes cracked open just a little bit, enough to see that it was Sky underneath him, and not some seedy old grandma. His brain registered what he was seeing and Eden lost control, the sudden rush of blood almost painful. Oh, God. Oh God oh God oh God... He froze, holding himself up off her by his arms, horror painting his face. It was so obvious, it was like he was screaming at her; I HAVE AN ERECTION. He felt like he might die. He rolled off her and was standing within a second, cheeks scarlet with embarrassment, hair messy from her fingers. Oh, God. I'm sorry, he whispered, hand pressed to his mouth in horror. This was the most humilating moment of his life. Eden wanted very much to dig a hole in his carpet, climb in, and maybe stay there for the rest of eternity. ________________________________________________________________________

He felt like dying as Sky laughed so hard he was certain she would pee herself. Eden desperately looked around for somewhere to run and hide. Just go away, please, he prayed fiercely, but alas he was ignored. Eden tried everything he could think of while Sky was busy laughing; he thought of grandmas, insects, death. When thinking of ugly things didn't work, he pinched himself in various places, hoping the pain would overcome the erection. Still didn't work. He tried combining the two, but to no avail. Holy crap. This thing could take down a bus. Suddenly Sky's laughter died down and she turned to him with a smile. Eden fearfully met her gaze, nervous about what she would say. He cracked a small smile at her teasing words, still tentatively staying away from the bed. His cheeks remained bright red from embarrassment, and they flushed deeper as Sky suggestively watched him. Oh, jeez. She really needed to stop looking at him like that. Eden forced his gaze away, bouncing slightly on the balls of his feet, staring hard at his wardrobe. Sky turned sweeter, kindly soothing his ruffled feathers with soft words and a smile. And then her words changed.
Eden brought his gaze back to her curiously, quirking an eyebrow. She didn't seem to be talking about him any more, because what she was saying didn't apply to their situation. Her gaze drifted, her eyes glazed over, and her expression became hard and irritated. She trailed off, staring into the distance, and Eden felt like waving a hand in front of her face and asking if she was still there. What on earth was she thinking about? The curiosity overcame the problem in his pants, and while Eden was busy trying to figure out what the hell Sky was on about, the blood slowly drained away and he returned to normal. Sky looked back at him and smiled, moving closer and pressing a soft kiss to his lips. Eden didn't bother asking what she had been thinking about; he would prefer not knowing. He took her advice and relaxed, tension easing out of his muscles. His cheeks remained bright red, and he bit his lip nervously. Sky sank back onto the bed and grinned at him. Eden looked away. She really needed to stop doing that if Eden was going to retain any amount of his sanity.
Want to go down to the stables? he asked tentatively, voice soft and worried. Eden remained three steps away from the bed, locking his fingers together behind his back and bobbing nervously on his heels. He kind of just wanted to leave, and take some time to forget this mortifying incident. He smiled a tiny smile at Sky and bent over, kissing her softly and moving away to get changed. He went to his closet and retrieved a pair of black breeches, a clear pair of undies, and a polo shirt. Eden disappeared into the bathroom with a smile at Sky, closing the door behind him. He poked his tongue out at his reflection in the mirror, stepping out of his pyjamas. Quickly jumping in the shower, he spent three minutes soaping himself up and rinsing himself down, turning off the water and drying himself off. Eden dressed himself quickly, brushing his teeth and running a comb through his hair. He toyed with it briefly before letting it decide what it wanted to do with itself, and exited the bathroom. He was feeling much better after his shower, and grinned at Sky, excited for the day ahead. Eden stepped into his boots and zipped up his half-chaps, grabbing his keys, wallet, and phone. Come on, sleepyhead, he smiled at Sky. She looked so comfortable and at home in his bed that it made Eden smile. He held out a hand, waiting patiently for her to arise. ________________________________________________________________________

There are no stars out tonight The moon's a little weak too The trains echo in the background World spins slow tonight -- My Genuine Find
The girl watched as he relaxed, and smiled up at him. Good. Taking her advice was smart. She snickered at the thought and gathered the blankets tighter around her shoulders, snuggling deeper into the soft fabric. "Mhmm. Definitely." She agreed, nodding vigorously. Dezzy liked to eat early in the morning, and she upheld that. If she didn't, the gelding was thrown off track, and she didn't want that to happen. Again. She winced inwards at the thought. Grimacing momentarily, she switched her hazel gaze Eden again, her face devoid of a smile. Before she could put one on her pink lips, he smiled at her and placed a shy kiss on her lips. Giggling, she smiled at him, watching his figure as it retreated to the bathroom. She floppd back down on the back, curling up into a ball and closing her eyes. It wasn't long until she heard Eden emerge from the bathroom, now in a new outfit-one that told he he planned on riding. Her eyes were open, but she still snuggled deeper into the blue comforter. Sky chuckled at his words and hesitated one last second before taking his head. She wouldn't be in another bed until late tonight. Pulling himself up using his hand, Sky slid off the bed and kept his hand tightly in hers. She looked up at him with a grin. "Well, I guess it's my turn to change now. She said, leading him out the door. Letting him lock his door behind them, she practically dragged him along the halls, eager to take a quick shower and change. She didn't look all that attractive at the moment. Her head was tousled from sleeping, and her face lacked any sort of make up. Her clothes were not flattering to her body shape, due to the fact that they were meant to be comfy, and not fashionable. After a little while, the pair reached Sky's room, and the girl pushed open the door. Locking her room was something she always forgot to do. Sky pulled Eden instead and pushed him gently in the direction of the bed. "Sit and wait." She smirked, turning around the slide into her closet. After snatching an outfit from a few hangers, she trotted over to the bathroom, making a neat pile with her clothes on the counter. She turned on the shower and stepped in, taking only a few minutes to wash her hair a scrub her body clean. After showering, she towel dried her hair and got dressed. A loosed pink tank top covered her torso, a loosely sketched giraffe in pastel colors stretching across it. Paired with tan breeches, she brushed out her hair and poked her head out the door. Her eyes landed on Eden and she smiled. "Just a few more minutes. I'm sorry you have to endure me getting ready." She joked, laughing at a memory of her mother telling her how ridiculous she was for spending so much time getting ready. She ducked back into the bathroom and shut the door, attempting the muffle the sound of her blow dryer. After drying her hair as quick as she could, Sky spent more time on her bangs, making them acceptable. Bending over, the teenager smoothed her hair into a ponytail, letting a few long strands hang free right next to her bangs. Applying a light layer of make-up, consisting of mascara and some toner, she stepped out of the bathroom, happy with her appearance. "Alright. Almost. Done." She chuckled, heading towards her closet to search for some riding boots. Finding a knee-high, black pair, she pulled them on quickly. Then, going back to her closet, she pulled out a blue and grey hat, placing it on her head and pulling her pony tail out the back. Finally, Sky turned to Eden and tilted her head at him with a smile. "Soooooo. What are we doing today? Skyla walked toward him and placed herself conventionally on the edge of his knee. "Like, does it involve breakfast, because I'm freaking starving." As if to prove her point, the girl's stomach rumbled, and Sky glanced down at it, before looking back at Eden.

Eden gently tugged Sky upwards and smiled, following her to the door, locking it securely behind them. He allowed himself to be dragged along to Sky's room, and obediently sat and waited at her command. The morning's humiliation was still fresh in his mind. He cast his eyes around the room for something to take his mind off it while he waited for Sky. His gaze fell upon a copy of The Lovely Bones. Eden retrieved it and began reading somewhere in the middle. He had no idea what was going on or who anyone was, but it helped ease his ruffled ego. Vaguely he heard the shower turn on, and then off. Sky poked her head out to say something. Eden merely nodded and smiled, caught up in trying to figure out what the hell was happening in this book. His patience lasted for ten more minutes, until he got sick of the book and returned it to where he'd found it. Unable to sit still, Eden got up and moved about the room aimlessly, bouncing on the balls of his feet, snapping his fingers uselessly. He sat back down. He stood up. He sat again. Finally Sky emerged, looking fresh and pretty, ready for the day ahead. She pulled on some boots and perched herself on his knee. His arms came around her reflexively, and Eden grinned at her. Definitely. But first, the horses. He stood up, scooping Sky into his arms as he did so, and carrying her bridal-style for about three steps before tripping over his own feet. Luckily he managed not to drop her, and instead set her back on her feet before he tripped again and smashed her face into the floor, or something equally as horrible. He grinned at her sheepishly and offered his hand for her to grasp instead. Much safer. ________________________________________________________________________
