EDEN CALLUM; I like the way she fills her clothes She looks just like them girls in Vogue I love the way she plays it cool I think that she is beautiful. ________________________________________________________________________
After exiting the arena, Eden had eagerly slid off Envy's back and traipsed down the stable aisle until he found her stall. The stables were practically empty, only a few stalls occupied, as majority of the students were out training. And he was one of them. As he ran up the stirrups and undid the girth, a smile slid across Eden's face. He was at Windsor Academy, training, on a bright sunny day. And now he was going to meet a lovely, funny, interesting girl for a swim. It was so radically different from his life a month before that he could hardly believe it. A month ago Eden would probably be riding about this time of day, but he would have finished his training by grooming Envy and then going home for a lonely night of gaming, or perhaps a couple hours with his acoustic guitar. Maybe his parents would be home for dinner. More often than not, he ate alone, as his dad was too busy working and his mom too busy shopping. Eden's old life was lonely and boring; but just a couple days at Windsor had kicked his old life's ass.
Removing the sweaty saddle and saddle pad, he removed Envy's bridle and the mare shook herself thoroughly, droplets of sweat flying off and hitting Eden in the face. He made a grossed-out sound and wiped his eyes free of the salty wetness. Gross, Env, he murmured, stroking her damp neck. He shared her distress. It was getting progressively hotter and the stables were even warmer than the arena, because of the body heat of the animals. He was dying. Hurrying through the untacking process, he dumped her saddle on the sawhorse and hung up the bridle on the hook. He seized her halter and buckled it on her lovely face, dropping a kiss on her nose before backing out of the stall. You stay here, lovely. I'll be back in five, he promised, latching the door and running to the tack room. He found his locker and opened it, rummaging through the various items of clothing, protective gear, bottles, tubes, and sponges that littered his locker. Emerging with his swimmers - a plain pair of black boardshorts with white stitching - he looked around the empty locker room. Eden would die if anyone walked in on him changing. He slipped into a stall in the toilets and shucked his polo, jodhs, boots, and socks, pulling the boardies on over his dark green briefs. It was steaming hot inside the building. Letting himself out of the stall, he stuffed his clothes in his locker and darted back to Envy. She seemed relieved to see him, and he smiled at her, clipping on a leadrope and departing for the hydro-pool.
He arrived before Sky did, so he let himself into the pool building. It was lovely inside; the waters lapped calmly at the edge of the pool. The walls of the building were white and silver benches ran along the edges of the walls. The doorway to the change rooms was visible from the entrance and Eden felt stupid about his duck into the toilets. Ah, well. He would know for next time. Tiny blue and green tiles decorated the sides of the pool, with a black rubber grip floor. The pool was oddly shaped, a long, wide oval, with a small enclosed circle that was up out of the water, near one end. Eden assumed that was for riders who weren't swimming with their horses, to watch or lead them in the water. The floor sloped in to the pool at both ends, the grip extending up the slope. Large windows on one wall had a lovely view of the mountains and paddocks in the distance, the river visible. Eden smiled. New favorite part of Windsor. It was inexplicably cooler in here, and the sweat running down his neck reminded him how hot he was. He didn't want to go in without Sky, however, and waited patiently, toes just covered in the sweet, cool water. Suddenly he realized he was shirtless. Oh God. Terror flooded his system and he looked down at himself. There wasn't really anything to be ashamed of. Eden stayed slim and toned simply because of his metabolism and riding. He didn't go out of his way to look good; in fact, he had a mild phobia of gyms. He wasn't overly muscly or bulky in the slightest, but he had a good chest and toned stomach. His dad had been quite the looker back in his day. His torso carved down sharply to his hips, forming that 'V' that girls found sexy. Or so he had heard. Girls at his high school were always oohing and aahing over some dork called Taylor Lautner and his magical 'V'. Nevertheless, Eden was still scared of a girl seeing him half-naked, and he casually sidled over to the other side of Envy, letting her body cover him as he waited.

What you've got boy is hard to find Think about it all about it all the time I'm all strung up my heart is fried I just cant get you off my mind
Sky left the arena the same time Eden did, sliding off of her tall mount and leading him out the huge doorways. Once outside, she sighed, letting a small breeze cool her off. Jeez, it was hot today, she couldn't wait to take a dip in the water. She continued leading Dezzy to the barn, where her and Eden split up. Since their horses were housed in different aisles to the large building, Sky led her black horse down his respective aisle to the cross ties there. She hooked it to the bit of his bridle so she could snatch his halter, hoping he wouldn't have a freak out moment and break his bridle. She did not have the time to get that fixed. The girl held out a hand for him to stay as she ducked into the tack room, walking down the length of the room until she reached the area where all of her horse things were kept. Plucking a halter off of the wall delicately, she trotted back out to her equine, happy to see he was standing quietly. After she had traded out the bridle for his halter and clipped him up the right way, the girl made quick work of his tack, undoing the buckles on his girth with practiced ease. She stored his saddle and bridle where they went, and then slid over to her locker, where she had her tote bag ready with her swimsuit and things. Since she had planned on stopping by the hydro-pool today anyways, the girl had naturally gathered the things necessary. Slinging that over her shoulder, she walked back to get Dezzy, who was standing patiently, ears pricked forward as he listened to the sounds of all the other horses in the barn. With a smile Skyla unclipped him from the cross ties, and clipped on a lead-rope instead. Grabbing the lead rope, she started the path up to Windsor's hydro-pool. The walk there was shorter than she expected, which was a welcome surprise. It allowed her to see a bit of the scenery, and that was just as beautiful as everyone had described. Reaching the hydro-pool, she slipped herself and Dezzy inside, and then smiled at what she saw. It was incredibly beautiful inside, and the pool was immaculate. The water shimmered invitingly, and then the girl's hazel gaze drifted to Eden, who was standing at the edge of the pool, loving on his black mare. She called out to him, running a hand through her auburn tresses. "Hey, I'm going to get changed." She led Dezzy over to a chrome bar attached to the wall, and tied his lead to it. Whatever the bar was originally for didn't matter, it made a good place to tie up your horse. She slipped into the changing room, picking a stall quickly and sliding inside. Oh how glad she was that no one was in here today. This was the kind of place that was only fun with a few people, not a whole mob. Stripping out of her clothes, she pulled on her bikini top, which was a pale pink color in a plaid design, with bottoms to match. She pulled off her socks so that she was barefoot, deciding not to wear the flip-flops. It was stupid if she was just going to take hem off anyways. Taking a thick wad of thin plastic bracelets in an array of colors, she wedged them onto her wrist. Finally ready, she stuffed her used clothes into her tote bag and abandoned it there, stepping out of the changing room and untying her horse in order to lead him into the water. She turned towards Eden, and raised her eyebrows at the sight. When she walked in, the only angle she had of the boy's exposed torso had been blocked by his horse. Now, at the angle she was currently at, she could see the upper half of his body, hence the raised eyebrows. He might not have had some ridiculous eight-pack or whatever, but it was damn sexy. His midsection tapered to that perfect 'v', and his chest was smooth. White, but smooth. She smiled and headed over to him, Dezzy in tow. Coming up beside him she stopped and smiled. Her bikini wasn't anything close to anything stringy. But it was a bikini, so it showed what bikinis show. Her stomach didn't have muscles, but was flat and tight from riding so much. She wasn't all that tan at the moment, but her skin was naturally a light olive tone. "Sorry that took so long." She apologized briefly, ripping her eyes away from his bare skin to look at his face. Dammit. She wanted to run her hands over his chest. So. Bad. She shook this thought away mentally. No. He thinks we're friends here. Fri. Ends. Period. And with that, she led Dezzy into the water, shivering with delight at the feeling of the water on her hot skin. Wow. This was awesome. She waded to about waist high, and then unclipped Dezzy's lead. He bobbed his head and started off slowly to explore the large pool. Turning back she grinned. "Come on, the water's nice."

EDEN CALLUM; I like the way she fills her clothes She looks just like them girls in Vogue I love the way she plays it cool I think that she is beautiful. ________________________________________________________________________
Suddenly she was there, and Eden looked up in surprise as the door opened and she entered with Dezzy. She was still dressed in her jodhpurs and shirt and announced that she would go change. He nodded and watched as she tied up Dezzy and then disappeared into the changerooms. Going back to his previous task of unknotting Envy's mane, he engrossed himself in untangling the strands gently with his fingers. The horsehairs were thick and sweaty but it was time-consuming work, and it helped ease his mind. He thought he was allowed to be nervous. Here he was, zero experience with girls, thrust into a situation where he would be alone with one, while they were both practically in their underwear. Eden was majorly out of his league here.
He didn't hear Sky come back into the pool room and was still busy untangling the knots in Envy's mane when he heard Dezzy's hooves moving on the floor. He turned just to check on the horse, make sure he was okay, and came face to face with a naked Sky. Well, not really naked. She was wearing a bikini, and a very pretty pink plaid one at that. Eden's shock was almost too great for him and he blinked rapidly several times to clear his vision. Um... what? For some reason Sky was intently studying his body. Eden had forgotten to go around the other side of Envy and Sky now had a clear view of his torso. Eden felt very naked and very vulnerable. He wanted to run away and pile on some sweatshirts. Looking at Sky's face, he took in her raised eyebrows and smile. Maybe she wasn't repulsed by him. Curiously Eden glanced down at himself to see what was so fascinating. Sky was speaking again and he looked up, blushing a little and unable to meet her gaze. He had maybe been doing some staring of his own. Eden had never been this close to a girl wearing so little. At the beach, the bikini-clad girls were always at the opposite end of the sand, far away from Eden and his little party of one. He didn't really go to the beach often, mainly because he usually had no-one to go with. It was a sad situation. But now, here was a gorgeous, real-life girl, in a bikini, standing a meter away from him. Unbelievable.
That's okay, he murmured in response to her apology. He hadn't really been worried about the time, far too occupied with his little task of untangling Envy's mane. Sky's face seemed conflicted for a moment after she spoke, like she wanted to do something but was restraining herself. Eden's forehead creased in confusion and he was just about to ask her what was wrong when she turned away, sliding into the water of the pool, Dezzy following her calmly. Eden shut his mouth abruptly. She unclipped the big horse's lead and he swam off eagerly. Sky turned back to Eden and called to him. Eden couldn't really believe this was happening. She looked fabulous in the water. Envy nosed him and he snapped to his senses, walking forward. The water enveloped him happily, folding around his body in it's cool embrace. It was heaven. He unclipped Envy's lead and tossed it over onto the floor next to the pool. The mare began swimming happily, exploring the length of the pool. Eden ducked under the surface and breast-stroked a little, enjoying the cool feel of the water. This was truly bliss; after a hot, sweaty training session, to bathe in the shining waters was like a long-awaited gift. He decided he would be frequenting the hydro-pool very often. The silence underneath the surface was absolute; he couldn't hear anything. The water was clear, being salt not chlorine, which was much better for the horses, and he could easily see Envy's and Dezzy's legs and bodys bobbing happily. He could see Sky's legs kicking gracefully, and he resurfaced. Wiping the water from his eyes and shaking out his hair, he smiled at her, much more relaxed now that his temperature was significantly cooler. So what are your full names? You and Dezzy, I mean, he questioned, nodding toward the horse in question. It occurred to him he didn't really know much about Sky, and he was eager to learn. ________________________________________________________________________

What you've got boy is hard to find Think about it all about it all the time I'm all strung up my heart is fried I just cant get you off my mind
Skyla had noticed the boy's staring, which was easy to see as she had been doing the same to him. Now that they were in the water, she relaxed, tense muscles unwinding slowly. The stress of today melted away like butter on a hot surface, and she had to admit that it felt nice. She snapped out of her reverie as Eden joined her in to water. A grin set firmly on his face as he ducked under the surface of the gentle waves and came back up, hair slick and several shades darker then usual. She dipped her head under as well, relishing the feeling of the cool salt water on her face, caressing away all of the sticky remnants of sweat. She resurfaced, hands on her head, slicking back her hair. She had always preferred salt water over chlorine. Salt water helped your skin and hair while chlorine only dried it out and made it yucky and helped intensify a sunburn. Skyla shuddered mentally a the thought. Chlorine intensified sunburn... something she did not want to relive. Shaking a way that thought, the girl returned her attention to Eden as he spoke, the words coming out of his mouth like some sort of waterfall. Okay, so thats not how it happened, but Skyla had always wondered if that really happened or if it was just crap the author made up to fill up pages. She was guessing it was the latter. "Well, my name, middle included, is Skyla Michelle White. Dezzy's happens to be Red Rum's Rendezvous. I know you're wondering Dezzy comes into that. Well, not even I know so, don't even ask," She smiled, giggling briefly. "And what about you and your gorgy mare, eh?" She prodded, a smirk gracing her features. Oh God. Being in the water was not helping. She could still she his torso through the clear water. Curse Windsor for being so elite. Curse them. She smiled and continued. "So, now you've got me curious. How many hearts have you broken in your lifetime Eden?" She teased, poking him lightly in the chest, her eyes dancing with her mischief. Truthfully, she really wanted to know. Whether she covered it up with a joke or not, gosh dangit. She smiled inwardly at herself, letting her gaze wander to where Dezzy and Eden's mare were sniffing each other experimentally, nostrils flaring as they whiffled cautiously. She had confidence that Dezzy was easy going enough not to start any nonsense with the black mare, so she returned her focus to Eden, a smile lighting up her features. Something about the hydro-pool was so liberating. Perhaps it was the effect of horses and swimming combined, or maybe she was just going crazy. Whatever it was, she liked it. With one crazy notion, the girl leaped out of her relaxed position and stepped toward Eden, the water lapping lazily at her upper arms. And with one swift movement, she had tackled the boy and shoved his head underwater, an insane smirk set on her features. Okay, maybe she was a little crazy.

EDEN CALLUM; I like the way she fills her clothes She looks just like them girls in Vogue I love the way she plays it cool I think that she is beautiful. ________________________________________________________________________
Sky took her turn diving under the surface and Eden waited patiently, treading water calmly and relishing the feel of the cool water soothing his hot body. He glanced over to the horses. They seemed to be becoming fast friends, and he smiled. It was comforting to know Envy would get along well here. He had worried that she would be shunned to the edge of the herd and forced to the bottom of the hierarchy, doomed to end up like her owner. It had been silly of him. There wasn't a single person, animal, or horse that didn't instantly fall in love with his mare. Envy had a natural likability about her. She was just sweet and lovable, the kind of horse that was always pleased to see you, no matter who you were. It made you feel very loved, and was just one of the million reasons why Eden loved her so damn much.
Sky's head popped out of the water and Eden turned to her with a smile. She answered his question with a laugh and he couldn't help but giggle a little himself. Skyla... that's really pretty. Your parents have good taste. He said softly. He knew not everyone had wonderful relationships with their parents and he hoped he wouldn't offend Sky, but her name really was unusual and lovely. He hadn't heard anything like it before. Then again, 'Eden' wasn't too common either. He tuned in to her again and realized he had never properly introduced her to Envy. He smiled. Eden Jeremy Callum. Pleased to meet you. He said formally, laughing and wiping water out of his eyes. His gaze turned to Envy. That lovely lady is Invidia Velenoso. It's Italian for 'poisonous envy' because she's so lovely that everyone is jealous. He joked, turning back to Skyla. It wasn't really a joke. Envy was spectacularly gorgeous. She was an ex-racehorse and she was bred to be magnificent. He smiled at Sky. I call her Envy for short. Invidia Velenoso was a little too long to be calling out in the paddocks.
He spent a few more delicious moments treading water, moving in little circles. The horses were up one end of the pool and although it wasn't too deep, Eden kept an eye on them. He and Sky were occupying the opposite end of the pool, facing each other as they floated. Both were relaxed, treading water easily to keep themselves afloat. There was a sudden splash and before he knew what was happening, his head was underwater and he was drowning slightly. He flailed underwater, trying to figure out what happened, and felt Sky's hands pushing down on his head. He let out a roar of indignation, muffled by the bubbles and water, and seized her wrists, pulling her hands off his head and breaking free of the water. He gasped for air, water dripping from his hair into his eyes. There was a pause as he got his breath back and stared at her, before revenge set in and he leaped toward her, repeating her movements and dunking her successfully. He didn't hold her under for more than a few seconds, releasing her and swimming well out of harm's way. He laughed at the ridiculous antics and shook his head to free his hair of the water droplets.
She was speaking again, her voice curious and teasing. Eden looked at her. Her eyes were dancing with mischief, and he gave a little smile. Don't be silly, he admonished quietly. As if Eden would ever even get close enough to a girl to break her heart. He could barely look them in the eye, Sky excepted. He was so much more comfortable around her. Eden took a moment to dip under the surface again, the splashing from the horses and Sky's movements instantly silencing. He could hear his own heartbeat. He swam around Sky and resurfaced behind her. Blinking the water from his eyes, he spoke again, words soft and embarrassed Like I said before, I've never had a girlfriend. I've never even... I've never even kissed a girl. He blurted before he could stop himself. He gave a short, self-conscious laugh. I'm well aware of how pathetic that is. Girls just don't go for guys like me. He shrugged. It wasn't anything Eden was particularly miserable about. He had long ago come to terms with the fact that he wasn't a ladies man. It was just fact, and there was no point denying it. He paused before tentatively questioning her. What about you? I bet you break a different heart every week. He said with a wry smile. He wasn't accusing Sky in any way, he was joking, although his words had an undertone of truth. Eden didn't doubt that the opposite sex fell regularly for Skyla Michelle White, and there was a chance he was becoming one of them. He watched her, waiting for her response, a sad little smile on his face. ________________________________________________________________________

What you've got boy is hard to find Think about it all about it all the time I'm all strung up my heart is fried I just cant get you off my mind
Sky blinked slowly as the sun passed behind a thin, wispy cloud. Now that it's obtrusive rays were subdued a little, she could finally see the scenery clearly. Which was insanely beautiful. The trees were full and lush, blooming vibrant colors to go along with the spirit of spring. She focused her hazel eyes on Eden when she heard his voice, flashing him a small smile as he complimented her name. It was accompanied by the lightest of blushes tainting her cheeks. There were few things that made the girl blush, and someone complimenting her name was one of them. He told her his name, which was incredibly cute. "Oh my gosh, that's so cute!" She said in a fashion that could possibly be borderline fan girl. Her gaze shifted to Envy as he told her name. It fit her well, the horse was incredibly lovely, personality wise and appearance as well. She turned back to Eden. "Her name is so pretty," She went on, eyes locked with the boy's. She wasn't expecting him to dunk her under as well, even though she should have. He, unlike her, only held her under for a few seconds, which Sky greatly appreciated. She came up with a gasp, which was replaced by a smirk. He swam away and she peddled after him, legs churning the brilliantly clean water. At her teasing, he seemed to grow quiet, and his words puzzled her? What was he talking about... there was no doubt the boy had had a girlfriend. He was so... perhaps it was her, but he was so sweet. He had a clumsy personality, and he happened to look incredibly sexy to her. He went underwater, and the girl had to admit she was surprised when he surfaced behind her. She whirled around, mouth open and one eyebrow raised. She kept this expression for only a moment before she smoothed it out. What he said next completely took the girl off guard. She raised an eyebrow and was silent for a few moments. Like never, never? How the heck had that happened? She regained composure quickly though and spoke, treading water as she swam closer to him. "I don't think it's pathetic. I think it's really sweet." She began, trailing one finger over his shoulder carefully. "And I remember offering to fix that before." She finished, expression blank and staring him straight in the eye. She didn't like the guys that had different girlfriends every week. It bugged the crap out of her that they went through girls faster than she went through tissues. Something about it was degrading and she wrinkled her nose at the thought. Snapping out of her thoughts, Skyla raised her eyebrows at his question. "I don't lead people on, only to cut them off. So I doubt there's been many at all. I always let people down gently." She said quietly, averting her gaze to the horses, who were nosing each other playfully, now that they were past the early stages of caution. The two seemed to be getting along well now. She turned back to Eden, one hand on his shoulder, and grinned.

EDEN CALLUM; I like the way she fills her clothes She looks just like them girls in Vogue I love the way she plays it cool I think that she is beautiful. ________________________________________________________________________
Sky's enthusiastic exclamation made him smile. It was one of the few times people hadn't linked his last name to Callum Enterprises, the huge hotel chain his dad owned. It was nice to be liked for Eden, and not for his dad's money. When she complimented Envy's name, a swelling of pride rose in his stomach. Envy was definitely the better half of Eden, and he loved it when people recognized how wonderful she was. Sky looked surprised as he replied to her question. Wasn't it obvious how clueless he was? Eden was probably the most awkward person that existed. Girls usually went for confident guys, and confident he was not.
She came closer, moving lithely through the water, slicing through the gentle waves. Eden backed up a little, surprised at her actions, until Skyla stopped and reached a hand out. He followed her movements with his eyes, widening them as she touched him on the shoulder. A single finger trailed down his skin. It made him shiver. What was she doing? Nervously he glanced up at her face. The look in her eyes was unmistakable, even to Eden, and for the life of him he couldn't understand why. She stared straight at him, expression unreadable, and it took several moments of frantic brain work to figure out what she meant. Help him? Eden's eyes widened further as it clicked and his heart was beating so fast he was positive she could hear it. Any second now and it would just burst out of his chest and hit her in the face, and he really hoped that didn't happen.
She didn't move her hand from his shoulder and began speaking again, eyes traveling to the horses. He was confused at her actions. She said softly that she always let people down gently, and returned her gaze to his. She didn't seem to be letting Eden down at all. He swallowed hard, throat bobbing with the movement. His stomach felt really weird. He was sure he was going to vomit. Were these the butterflies that everyone kept banging on about? They felt really odd. Eden wanted to yell at them to stop crashing against the walls of his insides. He cleared his throat nervously. She still hadn't moved away and he wasn't sure what he wanted to do. He wished that he was one of those guys that could take advantage of this moment and lean in those crucial extra centimeters, push his lips against hers, know the movements. But he didn't. Eden really wanted to kiss her but he just didn't know how. He felt like if he tried to kiss her then he would somehow make something explode or die. The anxiety was too much to bear, his head was pounding and he was sweating even in the cool water. Awkwardly he laughed and moved out of her grasp, swimming toward the horses. Let's race, he announced, voice squeaky and shamefully shaky. He took hold of Envy's headcollar and the mare swung her face toward him, shoving him hard in the stomach, admonishing him for his failure. He wanted to cry at being such a loser. Instead he pushed Envy's nose away and clambered up on her back, breathing hard. His heart was under so much stress he thought his eyes would pop out of his skull. Smiling sheepishly at Sky, he gestured toward Dezzy, keenly watching his owner. God Eden was an idiot. ________________________________________________________________________

What you've got boy is hard to find Think about it all about it all the time I'm all strung up my heart is fried I just cant get you off my mind
Skyla saw the whole room brighten as the sun came out from behind the cloud, it's rays intensified greatly. The choppy waters of the hydro-pool captured the light, which made them shimmer and sparkle with every movement. It was truly beautiful, and Sky knew she would be frequenting this place. Her focus turned to Eden as he seemed to shrink back from her advances. This made her smirk inwardly-what was she going to do to him? Poor boy must have an extreme case of being shy around girls, something he shouldn't have. The girl was sure there were girls that liked him, there had to of been. Now, be they shy or bold, she couldn't understand why he had never once had a girlfriend. Shaking the thought away, she watched as he made the connection between her words, his eyes widening dangerously. Eden then looked as if someone had told him that a unihorn had sprouted from his forehead, and then he had an anxiety attack. She smiled and waited as he froze for a second before finally looking at her. His expression was blank, a little strained at most. Sort of like he wanted to do something, but then he turned away with a nervous laugh, heading toward Envy. Sky let a small sigh escape the confines of her mouth. Here she was, waiting for him to sweep her up in some mad, passionate kiss. And there he was, climbing onto his mare's lithe back. What the crap had just happened? She heard his words and turned around, eyes searching for Dezzy. She located him, near the edge of the pool thank God, and headed toward him, arms disturbing the water. She could feel Eden's watchful gaze on her back as she hauled herself out of the pool, water streaming from her swimsuit. Easing herself onto the gelding's broad, black back, she took a chunk of his coarse mane into her hand. Skyla nudged him with one foot, maneuvering him so that he was side by side with Eden's black mare. Dezzy nosed her amicably, huffing out a breath. Sky looked at Eden, "I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable. If you don't... like that.. you should've said that you don't... like... err" She said softly, trailing off awkwardly. What she wanted to say, Don't go and walk off, dammit, tell me how you feel. didn't exactly come out, so she improvised. A light pink color rushed to her cheeks as she looked away, focusing on Dezzy's neck, where she smoothed out the fur there. Smooth, Sky. Smooooooth. She chided herself, glancing out the oversized window briefly. "Okay, so um, where is the goal." She began, pausing a few moments before going on. "And what do I get when I win?" She teased lightly, throwing a smile over at Eden. Oh God, she wanted him. She let her gaze trail from his head down the Envy's hooves, which were firm on the bottom of the pool. She wanted him bad.

He wished he would die right there, or that some black hole would open up in the water and he could jump right in and be sucked up into oblivion, when Sky's words pierced the air. She had easily mounted Dezzy and was awkwardly addressing Eden in an embarrassed tone. Oh, God. Eden closed his eyes briefly. He had made Sky feel weird, and that was the last thing he wanted, or intended to do. The awkwardness now wouldn't have been as half as bad as if he'd actually tried to kiss her. He probably would have closed his eyes too early and smacked their foreheads together, or missed her mouth, or bit her... the possibilities were endless and horrifying. He felt awful. No! He exclaimed, interrupting the end of her speech. He was so desperate to make her feel better that his voice was loud and a little pitchy. He calmed himself and tried again. No. It's not that I don't... like... that, or that I don't like... you. Because I do, I just don't know... how... OH MY GOD. This was perhaps the most embarrassing moment of his life. He flushed a dark red and twisted his fingers in Envy's mane. Life had been so much simpler when girls ignored him. Eden had thought the most embarrassing thing ever had been when one of the jocks pantsed him in ninth grade, in the middle of the cafeteria. And he'd been wearing Superman boxers. The whole school had seen Eden's undies. Just thinking of that moment made him cringe.
But no, it turns out that when girls start getting involved, things get a lot more awkward. Telling one how you felt was apparently a nauseating experience. Eden felt like he would vomit. At least now Sky knew how he felt. Surely she remembered her first kiss? The terror, the excitement, the nervousness... Eden was pretty much just feeling the terror and nervousness. Now that the unpleasantness was out of the way, Sky and Dezzy pulled level with him and Envy. The race was about to begin. Eden's ankle started itching ridiculously and he reached down to scratch it while he outlined the rules. Okay. So. We race to the other end and back. Stay on your own side, no kicking, and- aaarrghhhhh! He had bent down too far to scratch his ankle and Envy had shifted to the side to nose Dezzy. Eden lost his balance and went splashing into the pool, heels over head. He resurfaced, spitting out a stream of water, and laughed. This was so stupid. He was so completely unco. In the time he'd been with Sky, he had been refused a jump, and now he had fallen off. And for some reason, she seemed to like him in some way, and furthermore want him to kiss her. It was absurd. He laughed loudly, water dripping into his eyes. The tension eased in his body and the nervousness cleared from the air. He slid back on to Envy's back and settled himself. Like I was saying. No kicking. Horses are the only ones to swim. And first back here is the winner. He finished his spiel and turned to Sky with a smile.
She was looking at him. Like, looking at him. Everywhere. Her gaze was as smooth as silk as it traveled right down his body and slid to Envy's hooves. Eden's cheeks colored slightly, but he couldn't really help taking her in as well. She was darker than he was. Her skin was a light olive tone, and it didn't seem to be a tan. She was just naturally bronzed. He envied her that. Eden was a typical Caucasian and burned more easily than he tanned. Sky's hair reached down her back and settled just before the ties of her bikini top. He looked up at her, and grinned at her question. She was flirting again. The nervousness was gone now that he had made a fool of himself, so there wasn't really much else to fear. Winner's choice. He said ambiguously, his voice calm and low. It was deeper than normal. He surprised himself. Was this... Eden being smooth? He kind of liked it. You're not going to win anyway, so don't worry. Envy and me will leave you two eating our waves. He teased right back. Maybe not so smooth. But that moment of cool dude Eden had been fun. He wondered if he could channel that more often. He settled himself on Envy's back, crouching a bit lower, twisting his hands in her mane. Ready? He looked over at Sky and Dezzy. Set? He looked straight ahead at his goal; the other end of the pool. Once there, and once back. Got it. GO! He signaled Envy and she moved forward, pushing through the water. ________________________________________________________________________

What you've got boy is hard to find Think about it all about it all the time I'm all strung up my heart is fried I just cant get you off my mind
The girl jumped slightly as Eden screeched out a no. She raised an eyebrow at him, mouth seemingly frozen in it's partially ajar position. What the... She didn't have time to finish the thought before he continued, pausing awkwardly at various points. As he progressed further into his sentence, a smile on Sky's face grew more and more pronounced. Oh God, he was adorable. Didn't know how to what? Thinking back to the previous minutes she 'oh'ed inwardly. The smile shrank to something close to lop-sided, and she looked at Eden, whose face was a brilliant scarlet. Finally, she laughed, not at him, but at his reasoning. She remember her first kiss to be one of the most nerve racking incidents of her life, but now that she thought about it, there really wasn't alot to it. If she had just calmed the heck down, it would have been less anxious on her part. She let her laugh fall silent before speaking. "Oh Eden," She began, saying his name lightly, "Trust me. There's nothing to it. Relax, and then your hormones kick in." She finished with a giggle and a wink at the boy who was blushing madly. She listened quietly as he relayed the rules to her, Sky nodding periodically. She was staring ahead, calculating how long it would take Dezzy to run from here to the end of the elongated pool. Since the gelding was bigger than Envy, he'd have the advantage there. His muscles were thick, drawn from his fresian bloodlines, while hers were hard and sinewy like a Thoroughbred's. Of course, they were both very powerful horses, but while Envy was built for running, Dezzy was built to pull, which was what he was generally doing here. Since he had been trained as a jumper, he didn't have strength in the same places a draft horse would, but it was close. Then again, Dezzy turned terribly without a lead. So she was sure Eden had her there. Sky was jerked from her thoughts with a loud splash, and she glanced over to see that her companion had fallen off his mare. A laugh escaped her light colored lips, and she grinned at Eden, eyes dancing with amusement. Swiping her tongue around her lips she cringed as the salty water met her taste buds. Ew, thats disgusting. Straightening out her features, she switched her hazel gaze back to him as he started talking about the rules again after he had hauled himself onto the petite mare's back. After he had finished his speech, he looked over and smiled, causing Sky to instantly return the gesture. She also noticed that as she looked him over, he was doing the same, sweeping his clear brown gaze over her, making her squirm a bit with her self-consciousness. Oh Lord, what if she looked fat the way she was sitting? The girl sat up straighter, popping her back in the process. Once he looked to the front, she relaxed, focusing on what she had been planning in order to win. She heard his counts ring out and echo in the large building. At 'ready', she resituated her self, leaning forward slightly. When 'set' reached her ears, she snatched a handful of his wet mane and gripped it tightly, focusing on psyching her black horse up for the run. He responded to her excitement by raising his head and whickering, complete with a few paws of his heavy hoof. On 'go', she jabbed a heel into the gelding's side, her face stoic with concentration. At the kick, Dezzy jumped, rocking back until his forelegs were above water, and his hind legs were supporting the beast. He lunged forward, water surging from either side of him, parting like the red sea. At first, they went along at the speed of a fast trot, but by the time the pair were halfway down the pool length, it was full blown canter. There was no way he could gallop in the water. His powerful legs were churning the water, muscles rippling under his coat slicked with saltwater. Riding her horse bareback was something Sky would never tire of. She could feel the power driving what she was perched on, his heavy breathing, and the beating of his heart. Blood pounded unsettlingly in her ears, and as they reached the three quarter mark, she glanced over at Envy and Eden. The pair were a little behind her, the mare had her ears pinned back with concentration, Eden leaned low over her back. The girl turned back to the front in time to register that she needed to stop and with that she let the command fall from her lips. "Woah!" Accompanied with her pulling back on his mane... not that it did anything. At her words, the black equine stopped, flicking an ear. Oh crap, now she had to turn him. "Back." She murmured, and as the horse tucked in his head to back up, she strained forward and grasped his headstall, yanking it back around. With a snort Dezzy complied and in a few seconds they were faced to where the goal was. She leaned forward and touched her heels to his sides to have him lurch forwards again. Now that they were started on the ramp, the black gelding jumped into the water, with a splash as big as one a fat kid would make doing a cannon ball. He bobbed his neck at his efforts, and Sky looked over the see Eden and his black mare pulling ahead. Eyebrows raised in surprise, she turned to face the front, but it was too late. She whoaed her horse to a stop, only to realize that Eden had beaten her by a head. Sky found that her breath was coming out as ragged as her mount's, and she smiled. Giving her horse an affectionate pat on his shoulder, she guided him so that he and Envy's sides were barely touching. Swinging her leg over Dezzy's broad back, she sat side saddle, facing Eden. "So you won." She gave him a smirk, excitement sparkling in her hazel eyes. "Congrats. You can have anything you want from me." Raising an eyebrow, she leaned closer. "So tell me Eden. What do you want from me?" Oh, how she loved the use suggestive facial expressions.

EDEN CALLUM; I like the way she fills her clothes She looks just like them girls in Vogue I love the way she plays it cool I think that she is beautiful. ________________________________________________________________________
Envy was shorter than Dezzy by several crucial inches so it was harder for her to get footing on the floor. Dezzy jumped forward powerfully, easily putting a head's distance between the two horses. Eden squeezed Envy hard and the mare stuck her head up out of the water, finding purchase on the floor and cantering forward. The water lapped at Eden's hands but the awkward canter Envy was in was working; they reached the other end just a second after Sky and Dezzy did. The larger horse apparently wasn't too good at turning without a lead, and Sky had a little trouble getting him to spin around. All Eden had to do was shift his outside leg back a bit and squeeze her, leaning to the left and murmuring, Back we go. Envy curved away from the wall easily and leapt off again. A huge smile broke out on Eden's face as his gallant mare put a head's distance between herself and the gelding. Eden could hear Sky catching up, Dezzy's snorts about half a meter behind him. Envy reached the finish seconds before Dezzy did and Eden couldn't help it. His fist shot up in triumph and he cried out. Yeah! His smile was enormous. Envy snorted loudly, stomping a hoof on the ground. Eden leaned forward and clapped her on the neck. Well done, baby! He didn't usually win so it was a sweet moment.
Envy stretched her nose out to the horse next to her, nosing him happily. Eden smiled. She really seemed to enjoy Dezzy's company, and not because it was being forced on her. Eden was glad Dezzy was gelded. Tiny little black foals running all over the place would be a little too much for Eden to handle. He was breathing hard, and so was Envy. Running in water was ten times more difficult than running on land. Sky was congratulating him, and he turned to her with a smile. There are so many people I want to thank for this moment, he fake-sobbed, holding an imaginary trophy to his chest. He laughed at his ridiculousness and ran a hand through his wet hair. Sky's voice was serious and he looked at her, smile fading. She was sitting sidesaddle on Dezzy's back. Eden stared at her for a long moment. What did he want? Slowly, he reached for her, turning his torso toward her. He stretched out an arm and placed his hand on her shoulder. Sky, he began softly, face very serious. With a push he sent her toppling backwards off Dezzy, landing with a great splash into the water. He laughed so hard he thought he might cry. Don't sit backwards on your horse, he finished, choking out the words between laughter. Dezzy moved away now that he was riderless, and eager to join her friend, Envy began trotting after him. Eden was nowhere near ready for movement and he was startled out of his seat, falling sideways off his mare for the second time in ten minutes. The horses swam happily up the other end of the pool, nosing each other and making soft snorts.
Both riders were in the water now and Eden flailed underwater, finding his way back to the surface and bursting through the water with a gasp. He laughed again. He hadn't had this much fun in ages. In fact, he couldn't remember the last time he'd had this much fun. He didn't exactly have a large crowd of friends waiting to take him out and have awesome nights on the town. He did have a couple friends at his old high school, but he lived far away from them now. He was in college. When you were in college you were meant to meet new people, find your true friends, start having fun, drinking, doing all that adult stuff. Eden didn't even know where to begin. The laughter faded and he became very serious, submerging himself up to his shoulders in the cool water. Sky said 'relax'. He had heard that all that stuff came naturally, that the first step was the biggest and hardest. Eden watched Sky bobbing in the water, and moved closer. He stopped directly in front of her, his eyes dancing with nervousness. I won, you know. He said softly. He was so not good at this stuff. So I'm claiming my prize. Ewww. He sounded like some kind of creepy pedophile. He was pretty sure pedophile Eden wouldn't be attractive to Sky in the slightest. He started to lose confidence. He wished she would give him some kind of sign that he was doing something right. Eden backed up a little, disgusted with himself for losing confidence. He gave her a small smile. You want to go get some coffee or something? He invited. He moved to the exit of the pool and stood up, water sluicing down his body. The temperature in here was gorgeous and he didn't really want to leave the cool hydro-pool complex for the sunny main streets. Eden shook his head, letting the water droplets fly off him. He extended a hand to Sky to help pull her out. ________________________________________________________________________

What you've got boy is hard to find Think about it all about it all the time I'm all strung up my heart is fried I just cant get you off my mind
As Eden pumped his fist into the air, Sky smirked. Such a cute little lad, getting excited over his victory. The water lapped lazily at Sky's calves, and the girl ran a hand through her soaked hair. His mock acceptance speech made her laugh, the gentle sounds bouncing off of the room's walls. As Eden leaned forward her her heart skipped a single beat. Her skin was warm under his touch, though his hand was unusually warm, and she wasn't expecting to fall into the water. Much less be shoved into it. So into the girl went, causing a wave of water to fall over her horse. She burst out, wiping the water from her eyes so she co uld glare at him. "You're such an ass." She said, trying to be angry, but giggles kept escaping her lips, and her eyes shone with her amusement. As Envy shot forward and her rider took a dip, Sky let her laughter loose, moving towards the boy. "Real smooth, Eden."Eden advanced, and Sky allowed a lop-sided smile to her features. Oh, here was his nervousness again. Her gaze rested on him, staring him straight in the eye as he asked her to coffee. "Is Eden Callum asking me out?" She raised her eyebrows with mock surprise, complete with a dramatic gasp. Chuckling, she batted his chest lightly. "I'm just kidding. I'd love to go!" She exclaimed, darting her glance to where Dezzy was exiting the pool already, and giving himself a violent shake. "Well, I guess he's done." She mused, taking the hand Eden offered her with a smile. Thanking him, Skyla snatched her horse's lead and attached it to his head stall, ducking into the bathroom to grab her tote bag. She came out, and looked at Eden as he fetched his black mare. "Alright. I'll meet you at the coffe shop in an hour?" She bargained. At his complience, she slippd on her flip-flops and led Dezzy out of the hydro-pool building. Today was turning out to be more eventful than she thought.
outfit;; here other;; hah, it is rather interesting, isn't it? Anyways, I'm off to go write the coffee shop thread. (:
