Ryan had really enjoyed riding Jay this morning. Being the perfect gentlemen, a bit of schooling in the indoor arena had been quite reaxing, but it had pretty full quite quick, though it was big, it wouldn't be easy on Flanigan, to maintain his concentration. Almost as if by cue,Flanigan was being a true pain this morning. He had kicke up a fuss about being groomed and then had been nappy to leave the yard. Almost putting a hind leg into a 14year old lad aswell. Ryan was glad to finally just get in the school and start working. Flanigan was coming round now as they started to walk out and do some walk and halt transitions. Some people from the younger years came over and watched as they sat on the bleachers, which Ryan could imagine were a bit damp after the light shower last night. Flanigan was working now, his fit muscles flexed beautifully as he moved into a elastic and bright trot, as he seemed to bounce off the floor, his quarters swung nicely as he moved and curved round the corners, doing circles, and transitions. He was working well for him, considering the new place. Go figure, just as he said that , Flanigan had to bronc. He had built together so much energy, that Flanigan had just got a hold of him, thrown down his head and started throwing himself around the school. Ryan clung on and pulled Flanigan up. The kids on the bleachers highly amused by the stallions antics obviously. Ryan not so much. He got him working again. He started working in canter now, the occasionl buck still slipped in but mostly he was working nicely. He brought him back to walk for a moment, whilst he considered what to do next. Jump or flat?

SAXON KINGSLEY;she's indecisive she can't decide she keeps on looking from left to right After her chat with Jake, Saxon had returned to the stables, deep in thought. She definitely had to get a leg up here. She was mostly worried about Jake and Ryan as competition. Jake she knew well; Ryan she had only met a couple of times. As she and Tandava returned to the yard, she spotted a horse and rider working in the outdoor arena, several juniors watching. It only took a couple of moments for it to register that it was Ryan, riding Flanigan, his huge beastly stallion. Now was her chance! Saxon beamed and hurried inside, saddling Tandy in record time and chucking on a helmet. She mounted with the practiced ease that years of riding gave to a person and within ten minutes was joining Ryan in the arena. She smiled at him. Hey, Ry. Remember me? Her voice was pretty and warm. Tandy flicked her tail and the pair began warming up. The juniors on the bleachers watched with interest as the two elite riders began trotting side by side. Saxon blinked at Ryan and smiled again, looking back between Tandy's ears. She'd forgotten how cute he was. His good looks didn't distract her from observing, and she began detailing every movement he made in the saddle. He looked mighty fine in those jodhpurs, she had to admit.
ooc. sorry tis shit, just wrote an essay, struggling to gather my muse

Ryan saw her coming. Flanigan sort of gave it away anyway, any mare came his way and suddenley he picke up more than before. He was looking as if he had been trained in grand prix dressage once she entered the arena. It was all good, it would intimidate her hopefully. Flanigan had a alot of power, it was just controlling and focusing it all in one direction that was the hard bit. He wasn't like Jay, his top horse, who was a well oiled competitive machine. Tandava was a lovely mare, who fit very well with her owners style of riding. Ryan didn't know her that well, but he knew she was good. He wasn't too worried yet. He was just waiting for the horses to settle properley before he could decide on anyones competitive ability. He knew few nobodies were going to appear out of this place aswell. He saw some girls jumping 1m courses earlier and were very tidy riders. He knew however there would be very few in his league. Him, Jake, Saxon would top that list for now. The order still unknown, Jake and Saxon were constantly fighting for top spot, and were very evenely placed, it would be interesting where Ryan came up against them in comparison. He had clicked already that she was probably only riding with him to get an idea of what he was capable of. He was suprised how the 2 inches between Tandy and Flanigan was apparant, but this was obviously made bigger by the fact Flanigan was bouncing on his toes showing off. He steadied up as Saxon came over. Saxon, How are ya' ?They had both moved off again now. Flanigan was chomping at the bit. Ryan as having to flex his neck down and up to contain the power that was building up, and he didn't fancy another broncing session. Flanigan was flagging his tail and flicking his feet with every stride. Ryan's hands stayed easy gentley moving the reins to keep him comfortable. He wished he was on Jay now, if he was, he would be able to intimidate her a little by hopping a few of the bigger fences, well he assumed it would intimidate her. Flanigan was more of power house that needed a little direction. He circled away a moment and broke into a tidy jumping canter. He rode in a very typical irish way, it was all very much controlled by the rider, but it was all about letting the horse use their own eye and improvising off that. He sat deep and rode Flanigan before doing a tidy transition back to trot and coming beside Saxon again. Flanigan's stride bouncy and long as he maintained pace with the mare who he was so openly flirting with.

SAXON KINGSLEY;she's indecisive she can't decide she keeps on looking from left to right Flanigan instantly perked up when Tandava began moving alongside him. Saxon could see the huge stallion dancing along, arching his neck, looking every bit the beautiful, deadly competition horse he was. Tandy wasn't having any of it and stretched out her long neck, arching it and tucking her fine thoroughbred head down, giving Saxon full contact with the reins. Her legs picked up with more energy and she lengthened her body, fluidly flexing through the corners. She looked a million bucks, and it was like riding a dream horse. Saxon wouldn't mind riding with Ryan a lot more if she got this kind of reaction out of her mare. Yeah pretty good. You? This place is fantastic isn't it? She replied, voice free of breathlessness, they were only getting started.
Ryan and Flanigan moved off in a smooth canter and Saxon watched Ryan's steady seat, impeccable balance and fluent hips. He was a wonderful rider, practically born to sit in the saddle. Saxon was jealous. Well, two could play at this game. Flanigan had been trotting alongside Tandava for a few strides until Saxon moved away and gave the canter cue. Tandava switched strides easily and moved out, getting her rhythm before stretching out fully. Her bloodlines were evident in her long, flashy legs, beautiful posture and even stride. Saxon sat deep, hands and legs light as she let Tandava do her thing. They approached one of the smaller jumps and cleared it smoothly, Tandy flicking her tail as they took the getaway. They transitioned back down to trot and it was all picture perfect until Tandy kicked out her back legs in excitement. Dammit. Saxon had her under control quickly but it had still ruined their impressive show. She tried not to look annoyed as she pulled up next to Ryan and Flanigan again, posting easily. Jay here as well? Saxon questioned. She had a bit of a crush on Ryan's other horse, and had always wanted to try him out. He was a beautiful mover and jumped like silk.

He watched as she rode. He had heard rumours of her technically precise riding. Each stride was almost calculated, Tandy fit exactly, as if there was marks on the floor she had to land on precisely, and she had a nice jump to her. Saxon held her together well, even with the slight buck. Every competition horse had there moment, if they were hot blooded enough for competition at that level, they had to have enough to give the occasional buck. He thought, at least it didn't matter too much if Flanigan played up, luckily, Flanigan was always pretty good in the show ring, apart from the occasional buck, or thinking he knew a stride better, it was mainly in training he loved to muck about. There were days that Ryan would get on, and just know that he wasn't going to work for him, he would simply take him out for a hack instead, but today he was working, and far better than usual at that. Maybe, he thought he was competing, as he was in a new place. He moved gracefully as Saxon came back. He trotted along side her, She got a lovely wee' jump to her.His accent was so beautiful to listen too, truly it just rung in the air a moment. He circled Flanigan away now, bringing his head just slightly lower, as he came back to walk, three strides exactly and neat pop into canter. Flanigan felt like he was going to explode, so Ryan lengthened him a little, and brought him back together, before turning a circle and squaring up to a jump, he picked up the 6 strides he had to hit to get there perfectly and then rode each one, hitting it from a nice spot he landed, Flanigan flung his head around now, fighting for a buck, but Ryan dropped into trot, a messy transition, but he'd prefer that than a broncing session across the school, but Flanigan wasn't happy with that, and suddenley leapt skywards and humed his back, doing a massive fly buck. He twisted way but Ryan had caught the reins just in time before he had time to do another. He had to laugh, he just broke out into uncontrollable laughter at his horses antics whilst he was trying to impress Saxon Kingsley. He brought him back to a trot and came up beside her. He stopped laughing now, and smiled before speaking. Wee' bit over excited i think!
