"Come Here Rude Boy, Boy, Can You Get It Up?"
"Hell Yeah."Windsor Academy had massive wrought iron gates at the end of the drive Beautifully crafted. Expensive aswell probably. They were painted black, and where clean and shiny. This was the perfect first impression for the massive school.
Dustin had been absolutely frantic when he had first heard that it was supposedly better than Sycamore Acadamy. He has to find out all the details, he had to know if it was the right place to send his two sons. Of course he would have to talk to Aud about it first. Being his stubborn self he had managed to make sure that both sons had agreed and had been invited to attend he academy.
Jake was eager to see what all the fuss was about. He had decided to go down an extra day early to get comfortable and find his way round, and go on his own than take a yard hand and come down the day before term started. It seemed he was not on his own. He maneuvered the two horse box into the parking area, which was packed with lorries and trailers of every shape and size. It seemed everyone was eager to see what was going on. He parked up and flicked the ignition off. He had been through lot of trouble to persuade his dad to let him to take the new Oakley Supersport Box, the original plan was for Dylan to take it because Yiska wasn't as well behaved whilst he traveled and might have benefited from the extra comfort the new box had provided for Red. The new horse box had Saracen Event Centre printed down the side. Immediately catching the attention of some of the students nearby. Dustin and Audrina were world champions, as Dylan and Jake where junior world champions. He hopped lightly from the box. Feeling the bright sunshine on his skin. Today he had chosen what he wore specifically for the weather. He wore his light weight yard jeans, washed out and slightly tattered. He wore a Saracen white and blue polo shirt and his aviators, along with a pair of old trainers for yard use only. His hair was styled as usual and he looked quite the part. He walked round and lowered the ramp on the back of the box, to find a slighty pissed of 17.2hh stallion glaring back at him. Red had never been one for traveling, being so big he always felt cramped when he traveled. Jake then left him to get some fresh air whilst he found the main barn. It was beautiful, airy, bright and bustling. The comforting sounds of yard chatter and horses whinnying and the familiar clip clop hooves. Then he took a look at the boxes, they were big, all were bedded and had automatic waterer's and full haynet or haylage, whatever the owner had specified. It was brilliant, outside the boxes, the horses had nameplates, with their shownames, stable name and owner name, and a space for the owner to write any notes they felt necessary, for example on the big grey horses box at which he was looking, it had a note saying, 'Be Careful, I bite' to which a big grey mare came at Jake with teeth bared. Jake stepped back and frowned, before wandering down the aisles looking for the empty boxes with Red's name on it. Which sure enough he found at the opposite end of the aisle where all the extra large boxes were for the larger horses.
Jake made his way back to the horse box and unloaded Red, who was bright eyed and ears perked bouncing around like some wild creature. He jigged and pulled all the way to the barn where he kicked up a right fuss going past some of the nicer mares. He eventually calmed down when he got in his stable as he snorted at the fresh straw and paced around the stable leaving fresh marks on the rubber matting that had been provided. Red then stopped and with ears perked gazed out of his window onto the Fields and one of the two outdoor arenas.
Jake was just happy watching when his phone bleeped from his jean pocket. He reached for it, seeing that his dad had text him asking him if he had arrived. Jake replied swiftly before returning to unload the lorry, he took his tack box to the tack room, which was more like the size of a small house, he found his spot in the last years area, he unloaded his tack onto its respective pegs and then walked back out again, admiring for a moment, the whole yard and generally people watching. There where plenty of starstruck first years who were currently ogling at the Eilberg's daughters dressage horse who was supposedly worth £60,000 and where looking at show jumping horses which had been bought from famous riders. It was quite entertaining from his angle. He then spotted a few people he knew, but they were all doing the same as he had been, unloading their gear and making the horses feel at home. He knew them from the circuit in show jumping, renowned to be the second most bitchy circuit next to Dressage, which it truly was. The first person Jake spotted was a guy called James Francis who had been trained by Robert Smith who had been caught trying to dope competitors horses, he was then stuck with that reputation, Jake got on with him well enough, but was never going to trust him. The second person he saw was Rebecca Parsons, a girls who made it Amateur jumping in Northern Ireland who Jake had seen for a little while whilst she was training with Blake Kildaire, a family friend but they didn't really get on, because after they had slept together, Jake broke it off. Making himself a bit of a reputation as he did. Then again, that came with the family reputation, but no one seemed to reflect the usual Hobday behavior onto Dylan, which Jake was pleased about, because his brother was so good mannered.
His was completely in awe of the place. It was almost fascinating with everything going on. It was fantastic to finally be here.

i'm feeling like a star you can't stop my shine i'm loving cloud nine my head's in the sky Yiska was being a total dick. It wasn't unusual behaviour for the huge Friesian, but today he was being a little more dickish than normal. Cut it out, you giant douchebag, Dylan said through gritted teeth, as he clenched the steering wheel tighter. The kicks from the trailer didn't stop though and he let out a sigh, running a hand through the messy brown mop that sat on his head. No matter how much he loved his brother, he hated him at this moment. Dylan was meant to have taken the two-horse trailer up to Windsor, but the plans had changed and without Dylan really understanding what was going on, suddenly Red was in the trailer and before Dylan could say something it was bumping away down the road. He had been stuck with Saracen's second-best trailer, granted it was still nice, but Yiska wasn't the best traveller and it was a lot more cramped than the luxurious Oakley float that Red had been allowed to ride in. It was just the start of how Dylan's brother would eventually rule Windsor Academy, and yet again, Dyl would be pushed to the backseat.
Finally he pulled up to the huge estate. Windsor lived up to its reputation; it was massive, and beautiful, and bone-chillingly scary. It looked like John Whitaker would stroll outside at any minute and challenge Dylan to a jump-off. He gulped. Vaguely he knew that it was highly unlikely John Whitaker would be here, let alone challenge him to a jump-off which there was absolutely no doubt that Dylan would lose miserably, it was still a frightening thought. He parked the car and got out, staring up at the buildings. The trailer with Saracen's logo splashed across it got lots of attention, and Dylan met the gazes of several younger students in confusion until he saw his brother's trailer parked not too far away. He sighed. The legend of the Hobday brothers came crashing down on his shoulders and he turned away, walking to the back of the trailer and letting down the ramp. Dylan was different to Jake. He wasn't the type of guy who dated lots of girls, and he wasn't an arrogant prick. He was a new breed of Hobday, but it would take a while for others to recognise this.
It wasn't easy getting Yiska out of the trailer but soon enough the huge horse was standing in the sunshine for everyone to see. He was magnificent. His unusual flaxen coloring added with his size and stunning features made several students stop and stare. Dylan smiled and led his mustang cross inside the stables. Row after row of stalls passed them until they stopped at the stall with the nameplate 'The Night Has Fallen - Yiska - Dylan Hobday'. Dyl smiled and opened the door, letting the big Friesian inside. Yiska immediately began exploring his new surroundings. Dylan was heading back to the trailer to begin unloading when his phone beeped. It was his father, asking if he'd arrived. He shot back a response and slid his phone closed. His eyes landed on a very familiar figure up ahead and he sighed, grumbling and walking closer. You were supposed to give me the big trailer, you ass. Do you know how hard it was to get Yiska here in the one-horse? He complained to his brother, slouching next to him. The two males made a striking couple and many students paused to drink in the sight that was Dylan and Jake Hobday.
ooc. worst post ever? hell yes. -.-

There's a place downtown, where all the freaks come around. Where they go hard core, And there's glitter on the floor. Shoving open her truck door, Skyla stepped out; grimacing as her legs screamed in protest. Ouch. She settled for sitting back down, legs dangling out the ajar door. After a minute or two, the girl finally hopped out. Ah, it felt good to walk again. So very satisfying. A small smile touched her lips and she chuckled, hazel eyes glancing around. This was surreal. She was here, at Windsor Academy. She would have pinched herself, but she had done that once she had gotten the letter allowing her to be here. And she also remembered how she had screamed so much she lost her voice. And then lost it again, after she had regained it, screaming with friends. Now the chuckle turned into a giggle, and Sky's smile became more pronounced. Heading to the back of the trailer, she stopped while glancing at the blank black sides. Her dad had said the decals would arrive before she had to leave. Did they? No. Eh. Stupid wrong timing. Oh well. The girl was clad in light colored skinny jeans, complete with a snug fitting shirt with a cartoonish sort of dinosaur printed on it. Of course, her sunglasses were perched on her head. The only sunglasses she owned. Steve Maddens', which she lost for a year, and then found-much to her enjoyment. She chose to wear her knee high riding boots today; the sleek leather gleaning off the sun in a slight manner. She was officially ready for her first day at Wondsor Academy. She continued until she reached the back door of the trailer; unlatching it easily. It swung open, and revealed an ebony horse, ears pinned back and eyes unhappy. Shit. Sighing, she stepped up into the trailer and undid his lead rope from the hook, and then proceeded to lead him out. Dezzy loathed trailer rides. And this one had been exceptionally long meaning that, in short, he was pissed. Once the gelding was out, he received a pat on his muscular black shoulder, and he flipped up his head, prancing on the end of the lead rope. "Dezzy. For the love of God..." She muttered as her hand rubbed his nose in a soothing manner. After the Thoroughbred mix had subsided, she continued to lead him into the barn and down the halls, searching for his stall. Finding it, Skyla smiled. His name was engraved on a silver plaque. She tried to contain it, but still the 17 year old emitted a little squeal at the sight. Looking side to side, Sky made sure no one had heard it. Spotting no one, she slid open the stall door and let Dezzy inside to explore his new domain. Swinging her lead rope in one hand, and nervously twirling her hair around the other, Sky made her way back to the trailer to unload her tack. The black and purple leather glinted subtly in the sun and she made her way back, frantically blowing her hair out of her face. Frickin hair. Reaching the tack room and putting away her load, she stepped out, sweeping her bangs back where they should be. Now, where were the drinks and crap? She scanned her surroundings once before sighing. Okay. New problem. Reaching up to scratch her head once, Skyla's gaze landed on two boys. They seemed about her age, and now that Sky's gaze was comparing them to each other, they looked sort of alike. But that probably meant nothing. Walking to them, Sky kept her smile. Meeting new people. Something in her forte. Finding water? Obviously not. But, nonetheless, she reached them and spoke. "Hello." She inserted a smile here, hazel eyes sparkling with underlying humor. "Do you know where they keep the water around here?"// post = shit. xP

I ain't callin' for a close-up, No clubs, no cars, bitches with the nose jobs, No dubs, no stars, I'm 'a do it how I always have;
He was in a sort of limbo. Some odd feeling between relief and dread as he saw the next Saracen box turn up. This quickly was averted as a hot blonde in tight johds walked past. Jake's eyes looked her up and down, lingering where they shouldn't have and he began to walk after her till he saw her fall into the arms of a lanky lad who looked about 16. Jake briskly walked past and went to the lorry where he got the remainder of his can of Stella. He loved english booze. He wandered back on the yard and took up his previous spot near the tack room. He drank back the liquid and felt the cool feeling. It was a hot day, but it was nice. He saw a few people giving him odd looks, at the end of the day, it was a school and he probably shouldn't have been drinking, but screw 'em. He saw a not so happy Dylan stalk over. His brother had really filled out over the last year and looked alot better for it. You could tell by the looks some girls where giving him. He was expecting a bit more hassle from his brother for the van burglary, but apparently it wasn't a big issue. Being referred to as an 'ass' was definitely not an insult in their books.
No Worries Bro. Anytime. Check out that hot blonde with the chestnut walking in.
He had clocked the girl quick enough, he liked blondes. He firstly noticed 'cause the horse was kicking up a fuss whilst unloading, but soon enough it was the honey blonde in the tight fitting yellow t-shirt that caught his eye. He knew his brother probably wouldn't appreciate it as much as he did. Just as he did a pretty brunette made her way over. Jake's spacial awareness was pretty top notch, he would notice things a mile away. Observant didn't quite cover it. She was wearing a pair of light skinny jeans and a colorful t-shirt. She also had worn in sunglasses. Jake noticed her eyes pretty quick and perfect shaped lips. He smiled a little to himself, that smile that got him every were, and any were.
She had a cute accent as well. He smiled handsomely and tried to make eye contact with the mysterious brunette. His sparkling blue eyes usually made an impact. He stood up a little before replying calmly, in his charming accent and the tone of voice he only reserved for being a 'handsome stranger'.
Is this for you or the horse? 'Cause the tap is just round the back of the barn, but if your thirsty I'd love to offer you a beer? I think I've got some WKD's in the Van aswell, but, i wouldn't want you to accept drinks from a stranger. I'm Jake Hobday.
He had a way. She was obviously new, when people are new of course they are gonna look for friends, or a little drink to calm the nerves. He found that worked usually. He was standing upright a bit more now, and took another swig of his Stella, and then smiling once more, just enough to make him welcoming, rather than a man whore.

i'm feeling like a star you can't stop my shine i'm loving cloud nine my head's in the sky He was the subject of his brother's attention for about 4.5 seconds, until a female walked past. Then nothing could divert Jake's eyes from her figure. Dylan sighed and looked away. It wasn't that he didn't like girls - he did, as much as the next guy. He was just one of those losers that preferred personality over substance. It irritated him somewhat, such as when he would be in a club and a pretty girl would fall all over him, and he just couldn't bring himself to take her home without knowing anything except her name. He had definitely picked up Audrina's genes there, as his father and brother acted purely on pheromones, while his mother and himself took the longer route.
Instead Dylan latched his gaze onto the horses. He saw Yiska, of course, and a couple stalls down he saw Red. They were the only familiar faces. He thought he might have recognised a few mounts from the circuit, but apparently majority of the cross-country freaks hadn't arrived yet. He saw several dressage mares, with long thin faces and arched necks, and a lot of jumpers, easy to distinguish with their amazingly powerful hindquarters and muscular figures. Dylan was glad he wasn't on either of those circuits. He disliked dressage to begin with - hours spent going around and around in circles, up and down in gaits... it was enough to bore him to tears. Showjumping he liked a lot better, the fast pace of the sport, the high energy. The only flaw was the precision needed. Dylan liked to sprawl out and relax, which was why cross-country was most suited to him. He had plenty of time to get his head together between jumps. The full-on impact of the sport, the adrenalin rush, the blood-pumping speed. It was heaven. Cross-country riders were a lot more relaxed and it was the least nasty circuit out there. Dressage riders were very fussy and whiny, and showjumpers were bitchy and competitive. XC riders tended to just chill until it was time to ride; then, everyone got really pumped and excited. It was perfect for Dylan, and he loved it.
As the girl approached, his attention snapped back to where he was and he heard his brothers words, following his gaze until it landed on the brunette. She was pretty, Dylan would agree with that. She smiled at them, and Dylan went a little red, flashing her his dimples in embarrassment before casting his gaze downward. Okay, so he got a little nervous around girls. Sue him. He let his brother handle the talking while he did the strong-and-silent routine... not really. Instead he settled for awkwardly scuffing the ground with his barn boots, toying with the hem of his dark blue polo and rubbing his hands on his worn jeans. A hand fluttered to his hair and he messed with the strands a little before letting his hand fall.

There's a place downtown, where all the freaks come around. Where they go hard core, And there's glitter on the floor. Sky widened her eyes a bit as one of the boys turned toward her, his clear blue eyes flashing once. It was easily admitted to her-he was hot. Chuckling inwardly to herself, she kept the smile on her face, but rather reduced it to something less flashy. A small, lips only smile sufficed nicely, actually. As the boy spoke, she tilted her head barely, heat-straightened hair rippling with the sudden movement. The unfortunate thing about the girl was that her hair was naturally wavy. Oh, she wouldn't mind nearly as much if it were a beautiful sort of 'pop out of bed in the morning with perfect hair' wavy. It was a wretched, spiral-curl- here, -frizz-patch-here sort of wave. She absolutely loathed its' guts. But, pushing these thoughts away, Skyla processed what the guy had said. She noticed that he was making eye contact with her-obviously he wasn't new to this whole 'meeting new people' thing. But then again, neither was she, so she made easy eye contact with him, her smile still on her face. That was one thing about the girl. She was weirdly comfortable with meeting people, so with stuff like this, she didn't find her self in awkward silences or anything like that. She as what some people called an 'easy conversationalist'. A horse whinnied from the barn, and it was answered by another equine; one Skyla identified as Dezzy. She chuckled inwardly. Seemed like her horse was meeting another too. Oh, so his name was Jake, eh? Hobday.. that sounded familiar. She was silent for a moment before registering that it was the Hobday brothers standing before her. She had watched them in competitions for awhile now-they were really good. She fought off the urge to tackle Jake in a fan girl-ish hug. This was Windsor Academy...they were all equal here. Oh, so the other boy must be his brother... she had thought they looked alike. Or, that's what she was telling herself. Finally entrusting her voice to speak, she did so. "Hello, Jake. Oh, pardon me. My name is Skyla White. But please, Sky is so much better." She finished with her large smile, and a small giggle. Or, more of a hybrid between a chuckle and a giggle. A chuggle. Whatever. However, she also thought about his second statement. Dezzy didn't really need water, and she would have taken him up on the alcohol offer-only she had practically zero tolerance for anything that involved alcoholic things. Only at parties did she drink; and even then it only took her one can to get drunk. Shaking her head, she replied. "Heh. I'd love to, but you're looking at someone with zero tolerance for alcohol. One can and I'm passed out." She emphasized this with a sheepish shrug at the end. "Bu if you have anything else..."Skyla trailed off suggestively. She was about to add to her sentence, when she noticed the boy standing beside Jake, who flashed her an adorable dimpled grin before returning his gaze to the ground. He began doing small things with his hands, which shhe guessed was out of nervous habit; but Skyla just laughed. "What's your name?" After a few moments, she chuckled again. "Don't worry. I don't bite." Her hazel eyes looked a bright green in the sunlight, and the girl reached up fix her bangs and re situate her sunglasses. For a spring day, it sure was hot.

I do big boy things I make big boy noise cuz... I know what girls want... I know what they like They wanna stay up , and party all night He loved her confidence, sheer, smart and honest. She had a reall mischevious smile which he loved. She had very delicate movements, as he noticed the way she moved her sunglasses, the way she stood and looked. Her quick recognition of his brothers bashful nature. He noted as she spoke calmly of her zero tolerance for alcohol, and he had to smile, at least she'd be cheap on a night out. He cheekily thought to himself. He then remembered he had some red bull in with the beers. He smiled and spoke swiftly
I'll be right back.
He heard her say something to his brother as he walked back to the lorry, he swung open the passnger door and reached into the cooler box he grabbed another beer for himself and a can of red bull, any consideration for his brother slipped his mind a minute, then he faltered, he might as well, as he grabbed Dyl a beer, then walked back with the three cans.
Here, hope this is okay? Have a beer Dyl.
He felt the cool condensation on his hands, he caught the eye of another girl who had just walked in, he flashed her quick smile before returning to his own conversation with Dylan and Sky.

DONTTRUSTMEshe wants to touch me whoa she wants to love me whoa she'll never leave me whoa whoa oh oh oh my GOD Mom! PLEASE keep talking, you can tell how much it thrills me Lauren's hands flew to her temples and she began to gently message them. Her Mom fell into a frustrated silence….finally. First her mother had insisted she come along and Lauren had the good grace to let her, but the entire ride all she'd done is remind her daughter of every possible tip for riding and that the competition wouldn't be slacking so neither should she and how important it was for her to win. Sometimes Lauren felt like quitting horseback riding just so she could tell her mother to shove it, unfortunately, she just loved it all too much. The whole idea thrilled her; the danger, the competition, everything! Besides, the fact that she was going to be living without her Mom at this school had renewed her hope of fully loving riding again. Right now, things were looking pretty dim, however. If Mom kept this up, she would start considering jumping out of the car and riding her horse all the way to Timbuktu. She had to wonder why her mom cared so much really. Though she was always obsessive about winning and succeeding and all that, she was being extra annoying today and was always extremely annoying about the Hobdays. Lauren looked out the window and could physically feel her heart lifting as she spotted the huge iron gates that opened to welcome her to a giant and beautiful barn. She rolled down the window and let the spring air fill her lungs. Even from there she could smell the color bunches of flowers planted about to make the grounds even more attractive. She even found herself smiling for a moment before she caught just a passing glimpse of a group gathered in one of the many aisles of the barn and her face fell back into its permanent scowl. Even if she could see them no longer, the pair was unmistakable. The Hobday brothers. So that’s why her mother was pounding winning into her head. Lauren always wanted to beat them simply because they were good and they knew it, especially Jake, but she sometimes thought her Mom purposely entered her in almost all the same competitions as them. She turned her head away from the window to find her mom gazing in the direction where she knew the boys were. Lauren gave a sort of frustrated and exasperated sigh pleeeease don't tell me you only wanted me to go here do beat the Hobday boys! There not even that special, I've beaten them before! Why are you so hung up on them! Mom! Are you even listening to me? The car was stopped now and Amanda left to unload without a word. UUUUURR! Lauren shrieked in irritation and flung the car door open with far more force than necessary. She pulled the door to the front of the trailer with the same anger and her horse, Abacus, gave a startled snort. Lauren exhaled and put a hand on his muzzle, allowing a smirk to lighten her features. She slipped a shiny black leather halter over his head and brushed a finger over the pretty gold name plate that displayed both her name and Abacus's. Light filled the trailer as Amanda opened the back door to allow Lauren to back her stallion out. Abby was pretty easy going about it until he caught sight of where he was and was far too excited for anyone’s good. ssssshhh she whispered and patted his shoulder. He calmed almost instantly, but by time Lauren turned to find her mother, the trailer was already pulling away. She felt a weird tightening in her chest, but ignored it and spat yeah, good riddance! She shook her head and took a deep breath. Abacus was still a little dancey, but it wasn't out of her control. He was sixteen and a half hands tall, but his obvious, and slightly frightening, appearance came mostly from his muscles and fiery eyes. She searched one aisle, than another, but her stall was, of course, in the aisle where the Hobday's were talking with some other girl. She could hear the brunette say something about passing out and make her introduction to Dylan. Lauren sneered and headed down the hallway just as Jake returned with two beers and a red bull. Wow shes a lightwieght and clever, what a catch made by the Hobdays She gave them all a condescending look then focused on Jake and if you’re playing the bartender here Jake, how about a margarita? she joked upon reaching them, her striking stallion following close behind.

i'm feeling like a star you can't stop my shine i'm loving cloud nine my head's in the sky He snapped his head up as the girl addressed him and smiled sheepishly at being caught off guard. It wasn't often that the attention went to him when his brother was around; usually when a girl said hello to the Hobday boys, she stayed fixated on the eldest. Dylan's dimples deepened and he let out a laugh at her words. I'm sure you don't. I'm Dylan. That jerk is my brother, he said laughingly, nodding his head towards Jake who had just left them to get something from the lorry. He looked back to the girl and smiled, shading his eyes from the bright spring sun. Skyla's a really pretty name. I wouldn't shorten it. He said honestly, his voice calm in the relaxed drawl his accent gave his words. He glanced inside the stables again where he could just see Yiska pacing inside his big box stall. Dylan saw several of the younger students stopping and staring at his unusual coloring. If the mustang and Friesian blood wasn't enough, Yiska got his fantastic flaxen coloring from a Rocky Mountain horse paternal grandfather. He was definitely an interesting horse.
Jake returned and Dylan easily caught the can tossed his way. Cheers bro, he nodded, cracking open the beer and taking a good long drag of the liquid. Ahhh. He felt it trickling down his throat, settling in his stomach, and almost instantly he felt the warm spread of the alcohol's buzz throughout his body. He felt calmer and looser fairly quickly and he relaxed his stance against the fence, crossing an ankle across the other and tipping his head back. Windsor would be good. He was feeling positive. A familiar voice wafted through the air and Dylan didn't even have to look to see who it was. He cast his attention toward the stunning brunette smirking at their little triad. Lauren, he said, nodding his head in a welcoming gesture. I had a feeling you would have enrolled here. Lauren was one of his top competitors and the Hobdays had known her for years. Dylan got along with her much better than Jake did, probably because her and his brother just clashed too often. Dylan was a lot more chilled and let Lauren's snide remarks roll right off him, where Jake couldn't help but retort. Dylan however frowned a little at her remark toward Sky, and raised his beer can in a tut-tut gesture in Lauren's direction. Play nice, Lauren. I won't have you saying anything rude about my good friend here, he said with a wink. Dylan was one of the few people who could get Lauren to listen to him; she butted heads with nearly everyone she came into contact with, but she'd been friends with Dylan for years and so he had a little bit of leeway when it came to telling her off.

There's a place downtown, where all the freaks come around. Where they go hard core, And there's glitter on the floor. Sky smiled and chuckled at Dylan's words. No one had ever told her she shouldn't shorten her name before. It was nice. Especially since she had been teased in elementary school about her 'hippie' calling. So it was refreshing to have someone enjoy her name for once. "Can you shorten Dylan?" She ask quietly. She happened to speak right as Jake came back, tossing a can to his brother and calling him Dyl. "Oh." Came the recognition before Sky laughed briefly at her own haste. She took the can Jake gave her, flashing him a white smile. "Yeah, this is great. The car ride had me feeling crappy." She placed a finger on the tab and pulled sharply, pulling it open with a sudden pop. Raising the slick can to her mouth, she took a swig, swallowing slowly. Feeling the liquid seep into her stomach she knew it would take effect soon. "Thanks." Licking her lips, she raised the can to take another gulp. Before she could say something else, another girl came up, and big stallion following close behind her. The girl's walk just pissed Sky off, but perhaps she was wrong? As soon as the newcomer spoke, Skyla's optimism disappeared. Yeah. Seemed like some stuck up girl was bound to ruin this day. A sharp remark bubbled to her lips as Dylan spoke. Lauren, eh? If it weren't for Dylan Skyla's inner bitch would have exploded. Instead, she shrugged it off, and raised an eyebrow to the girls' condescending look. There was no way this Lauren chick was going to make her feel like crap. "Mmmhhm." Was the only sound she made, blushing slightly at Dylan's wink. [[erg. I'm sorry that sucked. Research papers suck your muse like a vacuum cleaner.]]

It wasn’t like Jake hated Lauren. He just completely and utter despised her. The only female in the world that had that power of Jake. He was actually repelled purely by her presence. It wasn’t like they had to compete against each other often, but when they did it was always bitching and arguments from either end. She always had a problem with the Hobday’s, as did her mother, who was just as bad. Dustin really hated Lauren Hearts mother, who Jake had never met. Thank God. Jake’s blood ran cold even with the sound of her voice. She loved that sound, he was sure. He heard Dylan’s polite response and rolled his eyes. He was surprised by Skyla’s lack of interest in Lauren’s stupid comments. He liked the way she didn’t even rise to her level to reply. Jake however purely couldn’t help himself. A good bitching session with Lauren always made him feel like he could up his game. Now he realised, being at Windsor meant he was going to practically be living on the circuit, the same people everyday, he was going to try and beat. It was insane. He would have to up his game socially to stay top dog here. Especially with Ryan Kildaire on the scene, he was going to provide enough force to take down a good amount of competitors. He thought then that together, they would be pretty unbeatable. Then again, Ryan and Lauren had some sort of strange Friends with benefits thing going on. Ryan always had a way with the difficult women, as he found the others boring. Always one for a challenge, where as Jake liked anything that was female and good looking. Typical Hobday genes. Lauren? How many people did you have to sleep with to get in here? His tone thick with un interest at her bartender jibe. He saw himself well above Lauren. He was an arrogant tool as it goes, but any reason to step that up would be taken. He watched as she sauntered down the rows like she owned the place. Soon enough he would try and have control.

She cocked her hip and posed confidently with one hand on her waist and the other holding a sleek leather lead. Abacus gave a short exhale behind her and moved his sharp ears and eyes about, taking in his new surroundings. The smell of hay and tack cleaner hung think in the spring air, but it was hardly anything but normal for these four. If anything, the sounds and smells relaxed Lauren a bit, though her cool stance and easy smirk would never give away that she was tense in the first place. Being by the Hobdays always seemed to do this too her. She couldn’t help but hate at least a little bit, yet, at the same time, she found it fun to mess with them. Her mother clearly hated them all, for some reason, and the idea of Lauren so much as speaking to them outside the show ring made Amanda squirm. Anything that made her demanding mother uncomfortable was like a fine treat for Lauren in most cases, this was one of them. Still, Lauren shared some distaste for the Hobdays as well, after all, they were competition. That stacked on top of the fact that Jake was being particularly annoy, as usual, left her a bit tense. Lauren would blame her mother fro her short fuse, but even at her angriest she was never as raged as Lauren often got. She had a stinging feeling that this trait may have come from her father.
