personality Merry is somewhat less of a douchebag than his owner, but still annoying. He enjoys getting his own way and is kind a of a prankster. He's occasionally mean to other horses so it's a good idea to be wary around him, but underneath he's quite a decent horse. His saving grace is that he's one of the toughest competitors on the circuit; Merry, despite his stupid name, doesn't take shit from nobody.
history Merrylegs originally belonged to a family farm, where he was born and raised. The youngest daughter of the family took a liking to him and was given the pleasure of naming him. The girl had only seen Black Beauty about a million times, and decided to name him Merrylegs, after Beauty's cheeky pony friend. The name suited the palomino quite well. It soon became apparent that Merry was too boisterous for the family to handle, and when Ainsley was looking for a horse to buy, they instantly clicked. Each had finally met their match.
