PERSONALITY
Maximus has an air of elegance, and he seems to know it. He loves attention, from anyone and especially from Akyn. The way he carries himself lets every one that sees him know just how highly he thinks of himself. Max seems to have a judgment problem. If you are dirty and try to touch him, he will go no where near you. Also, if he just doesn't like the look of you, he won't approach you and will move away if you approach him. When it comes to other stallions, he pays them no mind. He gets along well with mares but for some reason geldings never seem to like him much.

HISTORY
Akyn purchased Maximus from a horse dealer when he was only 2 years of age. He was a bit scrawny, and he was dirty and matted. Akyn got him for only five hundred bucks. The dealer didn't seem to realize what a prize he really had in his stock. But Akyn saw it from a mile away. He was very green and had only been saddled once or twice. Akyn worked with him a ton and got a lot of weight on him. He filled out and once his coat started coming in with a shine and his mane and feathers grew out, Akyn realized that she had a purebred friesian stallion in her stall. They have placed second or third in every dressage competition. Well, except their first three. But those are incidents that do not need to be repeated. Akyn and Maximus plan to go far, they make a wonderful team together.

PERSONALITY
Cherry is a fire cracker. She has energy to the maximum and she knows exactly how to push everyone's buttons, especially her owner and rider. However, she seems to have a split personality. When an inexperienced rider is on her back, she behaves nearly perfect. But once Akyn gets on her back, Cherry will test her every step of the way. She loves to dance for the cameras in the arena and puts up quite a fight when Akyn is doing dressage. Cherry is an extremely intelligent equine and she knows how to get what she wants and she knows that she is bigger than humans. She is the kind of horse who will take advantage of every opportunity she sees in front of her.

HISTORY
This mare was bought as a yearling when Akyn decided she wanted to get in to jumping. She was put in to training when she was two years old and Akyn began to learn to jump right along with Cherry. They learned together, so to speak. After a few beginner eventing meets when Cherry was nearly four, Cherry lost a shoe while she was out to pasture and was lame for a few months. During that time, she must have learned of her wild ancestors because once she was healed, she was a completely different mare. Her energy level seemed to have sky-rocketed and she stopped being the well-mannered show horse that she had been. After a few months of work, Akyn got her show jumping and cross country jumping back under control. However, she is still struggling with her dressage and Akyn is steadily growing more and more frustrated with her. Kathlene is pushing her to do her best and she doesn't want to push Cherry too hard for fear that she could get injured or traumatized.
