Personality:
Olivia is almost your typical girl stereotype - she likes boys (although she won't admit to it), hanging out with her friends, and being on the phone all the time. What isn't so typical is that she isn't one of those overly bubbly, totally optimistic, plastic girls. She likes to think about both sides of a situation and think things through. She's been labled a brainiac, but she doesn't think of herself as one.
Olivia loves her friends and trying to make them laugh. Although most times the joke doesn't work in her favour, which is really what makes everyone laugh. And Most of the time she doesn't mind what people say about her, but little things, like being told she's wrong when she really is right, really get to her. If she's having a hard time handling things she can easily get stressed out, which results in tears, and if others are around she feels embarrassed and tries to hid the fact she was crying, or she'll run away from everyone.
She's usually a very outgoing and humourous person, but if she is having one of those days, you can tell pretty easily since they don't come along very often. But when she is having one of those days, she doesn't want too much sympathy or pats on the back and "it'll be okay.." she wants someone to just sit beside her and carryon like it's a normal day and try to make her laugh. With the new move to Windsor Academy, she's beginning to think that she might be in for more of those days, but she can't be sure.
Appearance:
Hair
Olivia always gets complimented for her hair. Although she personally is okay with it, she finds the sometimes it’s too much for her, the curliness gets annoying after a while (she doesn’t straighten it much because she thinks it looks weird). She keeps her dark brown locks long and shiny, but she always wonders what it would look like if she had short hair.
Clothes
Trendy is sort of Olivia’s middle name. Although she doesn’t keep totally up with the styles. Since her father still lives in Spain, she visits him as much as she can and the European are very updated with their clothing styles, so Olivia comes back with a new wardrobe, although she is quite skilled in mixing and matching her clothe so it looks like she always has something new.
Body
Olivia is no twig. She definitely has some curves of her own, and is uh, well endowed. This is good and bad for Olivia. Good because she isn't a fatty or anything, she just has meat on her bones. It's not like she isn't muscled or toned either, she can wear a bikini and still feel confident with herself. Bad because she used to hear other girls whispering and laughing during her late middle school years, and she always thought they were talking about her, which made her insecure.
History:
Olivia's father, Brandon, first met Cristene while he was on a work study in Spain. He was captivated by Cristene's easygoing personality and beautiful hair. The two of them really got on well and kept in touch even after Brandon returned to America. Within the next year Cristene visited him and got engaged, so Cristene decided to move herself to America (she wouldn't have a hard time since she knew english). She then became pregnant wit Olivia after they were married.
Olivia was a happy child; she didn't whine much and it was easy to please her when she did get fussy. As she grew she had no problem making friends in school, and she got good marks as well. The beginning of her preteen years were alright. Sure, she quarrelled with her parents from time to time and amends were made, but what child never had a fight with their parents? She grew up with a little pinto pony named Reckless, although she was quite a sweet pony that taught Olivia how to jump.
Her teen years were where it started changing. She was trying to find her place among everyone, and find out what she stood for and fit in. Her body was changing, a little faster than her friends', which made her feel insecure and led her to wearing hooded sweatshirts and jeans for most of the time. This worked in her favour, since Maine is a colder climate. Emotions also changed for her, and she found herself scouting boys with her friends at the mall, and she only ever had one boyfriend. If you could call him that. They were sort of just flirts, really. He was one of 'those' guys that just wanted to have a girl to kiss all the time but then either ignore her or just be friends when they were around everyone else.
Olivia wasn't really sure what to do about him, though. She really did like him quite a bit, and when they officially weren't together anymore, he would talk to her on the computer sometimes, but not very much face to face. If they did have a conversation it was kind of short, and involved everyone in her friend circle. She still wanted to be with him, and she didn't quite tell him that, thinking it would just ruin their relationship more. So she just sort of let it lie and try not to worry about it, although she couldn't take her mind off of him.
Then her parents changed.
Olivia's grandmother was dying, so Cristene returned to Spain to be with her. That left Brandon with Olivia. He had a good job at a stable training a number of horses, and he wasn't home most of the time and that left Olivia there to fend for herself but she didn't mind it much. She formed a great bond with her father, but nothing can ever describe the bond between a mother and daughter. The two of them traveled to Spain to be with grandma before she died to say goodbye and to comfort Cristene. Olivia's grandma left some property and belongings to Cristene in Spain, so she stayed there to look after them until they were sold.
While the parents were separated, Brandon became an alcoholic in his spare time, although he was able to stay sober enough to train a couple horses at a time. Olivia spent a lot of her time then staying with friends, that is until her father died in a car wreck (which he was the cause of due to intoxication). This left everything to Olivia since her mother was away, including her father's job. She worked at the stables when she wasn't in school to make herself some money. She went to visit her mother in Spain when she could. Olivia and her mother then discussed Windsor Academy, Cristene saying about how nice it would be to have her daughter a little closer to Spain for schooling, and she could still work with horses. So, that settled it, and Olivia agreed to the idea, although she's wary about starting over.
