PERSONALITY
But I’m just a kid!
Remember when you were kids and everything seemed like such a wonderland? Being the baby of his family Wes never really left that state. His whole life hes been treated like the youngest child generally is in a family, plus some. Always considered cute, never really taken seriously, and always gets away with everything. Because of this he’s rather immature about things and has a bad habit of breaking the rules. He’s exceptionally curious and tends to ask faaaar to many questions about people. Wes is easily carried away and always likes to be on the lookout for something exciting. Even now at the age of seventeen, Wes likes to imagine things. You look at a barn and see horses and grass and hay, Wes sees the world’s best hide and go seek game. Now, don’t rate him totally crazy, but he has grown up mentally. He still has the makings of a seventeen year old boy, he likes girls, though he doesn’t know how to talk to them, and, if you get him to really think about things, he’s rather smart. Weather a vice or a virtue, Wes isn’t ready to grow up, and whose gonna make him?
You’re making me nervous.
Wes has always just been a bit…nervous about some things. Along with his problem with saying way to much without thinking, hes always had an issue interacting properly with people…especially girls. He likes to play and have fun with others, but at the same time, he’d rather be alone. See, Wes has been diagnosed with a case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Its not as bad as some people have it, but he still feels it constantly. There is always something just off in his surroundings that he must fix. Sometimes it’s worse than others, but watching someone with their collar all askew gives him a cold sweat. This is where the nerves come in because he knows he needs to fix it, but he can’t just go over there and fix that persons shirt!....especially if it’s a girl!

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Westley has a very oval shaped face with fair, smooth skin and very unassuming bright blue eyes. Altogether he’s very handsome with his dark brown hair that falls to just above his ears. Straight, but usually somewhat messy, adding to his childlike persona. Hes got a bright smile that almost always shows unless his OCD is acting up, or he’s lost in one of his strange nervous moments. He is rather slight and not really tall in stature. He only stands about five feet six inches really making him look more like thirteen rather than seventeen. Hes not super picky about what he wears, normally just some jeans and a tea shirt, whatever he feels like at the time.
HISTORY
Westley was born the youngest of five to a loving mother and father, if anything, somewhat crazy. His mother lived at home and dad worked full time as a ranch hand. Through most of his younger years, their family struggled to stay above dept in their little home, but they were happy. Mom had her hands full taking care of all the kids, but she read to them every night and promised she loved them all. Her and her husband stayed close through thick and thin, just like they promised on their wedding day and they loved each other very much. Margret loved horses more than anyone could know, but she never dared hoped to ever own one with their current financial state. Secretly, though, every time Gary went to work he’d put in a few extra things for a very generous old man who promised to let him have the next foal born on the ranch. Finally the day came and he gifted his wife a beautiful little quarter horse filly. Margret was ecstatic and spent every possible second she had running to the ranch and caring for the little thing. She, of course, had to take the kids along too. Instead of sitting by the fire like they used too, they all gathered around the filly’s stall as mother told the stories. They named her Remember Roxy eventually, Roxy for short, of course. All of the kids loved the horse and watched it grow eagerly. Soon they were all taking turns riding. The eldest, who was twelve at them time was obviously very good. The owner of the ranch, that same old man that gifted the horse, cared to go out and watch them one day and was taken aback by the talent in the family. He began paying the father more and helping with lessons until the oldest three could enter in competitions.
It wasn’t long, maybe a few months, and the Harbors were well known the horse world as a family to look out for. Gary no longer needed the money from his job after the winnings, but kept it up out of thank you for all the old man had done. Not too far apart in age all the Harbor kids began training in their favorite riding discipline. Hayley, the oldest was a well respected stadium jumper. She could coax a horse over almost anything; she soon had enough money to get a real jumper and the filly Roxy was passed down. Then there was Percy, second behind Hayley, he was more of a pro with the training then the actual showing, a regular horse whisperer. Everyone turned to him when their pony started being stubborn. He really had no need for Roxy once he’d found his place, so, again, she was a hand me down. Next in line were Molly Harbor and her twin sister Marian Harbor. They were quite the pair to beat in dressage, every competitive of each other they only grew and grew until they were nearly unbeatable. Obviously, sharing one little Quarter horse was hardly enough, and so, Westley got Roxey. He loves her dearly and, even though he couldn’t if he wanted too, he’d never give her up. They were a wonderful match, or so everyone said to keep him from questioning it and getting a new horse. It didn’t take long to realize Wes’s spirited attitude and need for adventure belonged on the cross country course. He was only ten when he really started going at it. Roxey was solid and great for the rough terrain. And so, the Harbors became the family of envy and jealousy.
Soon, it became apparent that they needed to go their separate ways and look for new competition. The news followed each of their stories as, one by one, the Harbor kids headed off to special schools all around. Wes, of course, was the last, and most unwilling to go. He doesn’t much like change. Finally, after much persuasion he was headed for one of the best schools all around for riders. Windsor Academy. His siblings were less than pleased knowing it was the school they all wanted, but, of course, Westley got, but no matter, he was shipped off on a Tuesday, totally unaware of the mess he was heading into.
