oh, one touch can set it all in motion one word in the perfect moment one chance to take when it comes one life is all that we're given one love to make it worth livin'
After she had hosed Dezzy down and returned him to his stall, she checked how much time she had left before she was due to meet Eden at the coffee shop. Fifty minutes. Oh God. She sighed as she arrived back at her dorm, which was mainly bare as most of her things were still packed away snugly. But still, the girl managed to find an acceptable outfit in what little was unpacked. She threw the clothes on her bed before racing to the shower to wash up. In seven minutes, she managed to wash and condition her hair. Plus a quick rub with some fruity smelling body wash. Anyways, when she got out, something occurred to the girl. Eden hadn't seen her with actual clothes or make-up before. She raised an eyebrow as she thought about it. Of course she had been wearing clothes when riding, but those were old riding clothes. And she had lacked any sort of make up. Throwing this thought aside, she got dressed as quickly as she could. A long, pink and white striped shirt with a huge silhouette of lips sprawled over it, paired with a short, black bubble skirt. Paired with high heeled boots that reached up to her calf, and an assortment of rose colored bangles, she was set. After blow drying her hair, Sky straightened it, swooping her bangs across her forehead instead of a middle part as Eden had seen. After cementing that it place with hair spray she applied light make up, and spritzed herself with some sort of Ed Hardy fragrance. After a final hair fluff in the mirror, she was ready. Grabbing her phone from her bed, she glanced at the time, only the rush out the door. Ten minutes left. Exiting the dorm building, she shielded her eyes from the sun, and then set off in the direction of town. Apparently, it wasn't that long of a walk, and she'd rather not take her truck. So after seven minutes of wandering around and harassing people for directions, she arrived at the place... finally. Shoving the door opened, she smiled at the blast of air that blew into her face, carrying the smell of freshly brewed coffee with it. This was nice. There was comfy armchairs and tables littered everywhere, and Sky looked around as she headed for the counter. Click, Clack. Went her heels of the hard floor. High heels happened to be Sky's favorite. They made her legs look killer, and added height as well. Her legs looked pretty damn good in a skirt and heels, if you consulted her. She ordered a strawberry frappachino, ignoring the counter boy's flirtatious grins and side comments. That's just desperate. She thought, wrinkling her nose slightly at his efforts. In the end, she walked away with her order, skirt bouncing on her mid thighs. Picking a secluded table near the back of the establishment, Skyla sat down, instantly starting on her beverage. Frappachinos were her weakness. As she sat, she briefly thought about when Eden would arrive. She looked different from the last time he saw her. Her hair was straight, her bangs had changed, and she was wearing make up. In her opinion, she looked a hell of alot better than before, but she kept that to herself and kept her hazel gaze on the door.

EDEN CALLUM; When the sun found the moon She was drinking tea in a garden Under the green umbrella trees In the middle of summer ________________________________________________________________________
Envy had been much calmer after her swim. The mare had been antsy the whole morning, but after a little training and a lot of cooling down, she was relaxed and easygoing as Eden hosed her down and scraped off the water. He was still in his boardies and it had only been about five minutes since he'd left Skyla, but already he was mentally smacking himself. Idiot, idiot, idiot. He had an ugly scowl on his face as he brushed Envy dry and led her back to her stall. The mare nosed him gently, and he stretched out a hand to stroke her muzzle. I'm gonna do it. I am. He promised her. Envy seemed satisfied and he left her momentarily, returning with a flake of hay. She tucked in eagerly, hungry after all the exercise, and after he refilled her water bucket and gave her a kiss, he left the stables to go get changed.
He had his own private dorm on campus. His dad paid extra so Eden had the dorm to himself. It was nice in some ways, he didn't have to worry about other peoples' mess, he didn't have to share his stuff, but in other ways it was lonely. Eden kind of wanted a cool roomie. He strode up the hallways quickly, eager to get a clean shirt on before someone else saw him without one. He unlocked the door and stepped inside. The room was cool, a breeze flowing in through the open window. Eden went straight to the bathroom and rid himself of the damp boardies and soaked briefs. He turned on the water and let the hot spray wash away the salt from the hydro-pool. He had about forty-five minutes until he had to meet Skyla. That made him smile. He was going to meet someone. A girl. She would be waiting for him. It was a nice feeling, and Eden had a smile on his face as he lathered up his short hair with shampoo. After rinsing and scrubbing his body with soap, he let the last bubbles slip down the drain and turned the water off. Reaching for a clean towel, he rubbed himself dry quickly and wrapped it around his waist, walking back out to his room. Logically he could have gone naked, seeing as the door was locked and there was no-one in his room, but that would be weird. He dropped the towel and pulled on clean briefs, seizing a pair of dark washed jeans and stepping into them. His torso was hidden under a long-sleeved white shirt that he rolled the sleeves back. He slipped his arms into a beige vest and tugged on socks before stepping into plaid Vans. After a moment's hesitation, he put on his black-framed glasses. Eden needed them to read, and he wanted to make sure he picked a nice coffee and not something gross just because he couldn't read what they had. He fiddled with his hair for a moment before grabbing his keys, wallet, and phone, and stepping out of the door.
The coffee shop was nearby so he decided to walk. The sun was less hot than before, now that it was after noon and it wasn't so high in the sky. It was a little hotter than pleasant temperature, but it was bearable, and the bright blue sky lifted his mood. He tucked his hands into the back pockets of his jeans as he walked. The butterflies were back in his stomach again, hitting the walls of his insides. He swallowed and tried to push them away, but they stubbornly stayed. It's just coffee, stop being such a douche, he scolded himself. He smiled politely at a white-haired old lady giving him a saucy eye and spotted the sign for the coffee shop was just overhead. He ducked into the doorway and heard the tinkle of a little bell. The coffee shop was cute and friendly. He scanned the tables for Skyla and saw her sitting near the back, sipping at a drink. He felt bad for being late, and hurried to order. When his caramel latte arrived, he took a moment to add another swirl of caramel on top of the froth, and walked quickly toward Skyla. Wow. She looked... she had makeup on, and her hair was different. Poofier. More to the side. Eden was terrible at girly stuff. He assumed it had been blowdried or something. She was wearing heels, and a skirt. From his limited knowledge, heels and skirts were big deals. They made the girl feel sexier, or something. Well, it was working. Sky looked epic. She was already pretty, but her new additions had emphasized her natural prettiness. Hi, he said, sliding into the chair opposite her with a smile. He couldn't believe she was here, waiting for him, looking like that. He took a sip of his latte. You look really pretty. His compliment was hardly sufficient but he was having a little trouble speaking. The butterflies had moved up into his throat and were wreaking havoc on his vocal cords. He smiled and Skyla and settled into his chair. He didn't trust himself to speak again, just yet. ________________________________________________________________________

oh, one touch can set it all in motion one word in the perfect moment one chance to take when it comes one life is all that we're given one love to make it worth livin'
Sky was concentrated on sipping up her drink, completely oblivious to the world. What brought her from her reverie was the delicate chimes of the entrance, where she snapped her gaze to. Her hazel eyes followed Eden as he ordered, and when he turned around to scan the place, she smiled. As Eden headed over to her, she had time to take a look at what he was wearing. He looked relaxed, but also had a certain class to him. What really made him were his glasses. He looked like a sexy little nerd. Reducing her smile to something lop sided as he sat across from her, she returned to sipping her drink. A light blush colored her cheeks as he complimented her, and she removed the straw from her mouth. "Thanks." After pausing, she went on. "You look cute. I love your glasses; they're kind of sexy." She said the last part with a smirk twisting her lips, eyes gleaming amusement. After sipping her drink again, she looked up at the boy sitting across from her. She knew it was the logical place to sit, but she wanted to sit next to him. Not that they could in the coffee shop; all of the table had only two chairs. Well, except for the numerous couches, but those were all near the front of the store, and Sky wanted a bit of privacy for the two. She felt her stomach grumble quietly, and she sighed in response. The swimming had made her oh so hungry. "Hold on, I'll be right back." She said, getting up to walk to the counter. Ordering a cheese danish, and noting that the boy at the counter left her alone, she payed for the pastry and returned back to Eden, stepping into her seat. Sky layed the food on the table with an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, swimming made me hungry as hell." She explained, ripping off a piece and popping it in her mouth. Oh, God is was good. She extended it to Eden. "Want some?"Putting another piece in her mouth, Sky smiled. "So Eden, tell me about you. When's your birthday? What's your favorite color? What do you like to do in your spare time? Fill in the blanks." She giggled, dragging her gaze from his lips to his eyes. God, they looked soft and full. She reached up to scratch her head briefly before leaning forward on the table, her hands under her chin, being supported by her elbows. Sky resumed sipping her beverage, a smile on her features.

EDEN CALLUM; When the sun found the moon She was drinking tea in a garden Under the green umbrella trees In the middle of summer ________________________________________________________________________
Sky's cheeks went a pale pink as he complimented her appearance. It made Eden smile, that he could have that effect on someone. It was a very new feeling, but a welcome one. Almost immediately Sky recovered from the blush and shot a compliment right back at him. Eden outdid her, going even pinker than she had, and shifting awkwardly in his chair, giving a pleased little cough-laugh. She excused herself and he nodded patiently, sipping his latte and quickly straightening his collar. He pushed his glasses further up on his nose and settled more comfortably into the chair, pulling up one leg and resting his ankle on the knee of his other leg. He stared at Sky's chair, exactly opposite his. He wanted to move his chair next to hers, but would that be too forward? Eden was discovering he had an irritating habit of over-thinking everything when it came to Sky. He was terrified of upsetting her, or offending her, lest she instantly decide that he was not worth her time, and run off with some gorgeous guy who rode a stallion and jumped six foot fences. It seemed a highly likely possibility. Sky could be doing whatever she wanted right now, and yet she was here, with Eden, in a coffee shop. He smiled. Maybe she was doing what she wanted. He certainly was.
She returned, a plate carrying a cheese danish clutched in her hands. Eden smiled and made an agreeing noise as she commented on how hungry swimming had made her. He was actually hungry as well. It was lunchtime, after all, and the extra exercise had made him famished. He didn't want to eat all of her danish, though, so when she offered him some he smiled and took a small bite-sized piece. Popping it in his mouth, he chewed and swallowed. Oh God, that was delicious. He was dying for more but didn't want to scarf down Sky's meal. Instead he took a sip of his caramel latte, promising himself to grab something later. He looked at her as she spoke to him, and listening, smiled. He gave a little laugh at her listening stance, leaning forward on the table, eyes trained on him. He was definitely the target of her interest right now. He thought about the questions carefully before he answered each one in a shy, soft voice. Well, my birthday is April 12, so don't forget, he joked, winking. I like all colors but blue is pretty decent. In my spare time I have a horse that I occasionally like to ride, here he paused, laughing a little. That was an understatement. Eden would spend every minute of every day riding Envy if he didn't have to do annoying things like sleep or eat. He picked up where he had left off. I also like reading, hence the sexy frames, he tapped his glasses knowingly, making a silly face. I read stuff like Chuck Palahniuk and Jodi Picoult. I like reading interesting stuff. Chuck Palahniuk was one of Eden's favorite authors, and he also liked Jodi Picoult for when he was in the mood for solving a maze of puzzles and clues. I game, as well, he said softly, a little embarrassed. Eden spent a lot of nights, controller in hand, headphones turned on. It was such a loserish pastime, but he loved it. He put a hand to his hair and ruffled it self-consciously before continuing.
My parents are really rich. My dad owns Callum Enterprises, the big hotel chain, so he's busy a lot. My mom likes to shop. We live in a big mansion in Las Vegas... well, I used too. Now I live on campus. He smiled, proud of his new-found independence. Eden had never liked living off his parents. It made him feel weird not to have to work for stuff that other kids his age did. His voice was shy as he talked of his parents. He didn't like people making a big deal of his family being rich, and it was evident in his face. He hoped Sky wouldn't make a big fuss. People usually changed their attitude toward Eden once they found out how wealthy his parents were, and it annoyed him. I've never had a pet, except for Envy, but she's different to a pet. She's more like a friend. He smiled at the mention of his wonderful mare. She was the best thing that had ever happened to him. His life had changed a lot since he'd gotten the mare for his fifteenth birthday. Aaaannnd... oh I also play the guitar, and sing a little, but only for fun. Eden had a surprisingly nice voice, but he was much too shy to go public with it. He leaned back, his spiel done. Taking a sip of his latte he smiled at Sky. There you have it. Anything else you want to know? He questioned calmly. He liked talking to Sky. She didn't interrupt, she just listened. He really enjoyed spending time with her. He hope she would let him do it more often. Your turn now. Let me into the head of Skyla White. He smiled warmly. This coffee idea had been a good one; he congratulated himself. They could concentrate on each other without having to worry about what the horses were getting up to. He stole another bite of Sky's danish and patiently waited for her to start talking. ________________________________________________________________________

oh, one touch can set it all in motion one word in the perfect moment one chance to take when it comes one life is all that we're given one love to make it worth livin'
The girl smiled as Eden blushed at her compliment, enjoying how easily her companion let the rose color fill up his cheeks. As he stole a piece of her pastry and chewed it, his face lit up and she nodded knowingly. The little treats and things they sold here were spectacular. He looked as if he wanted to shove the whole thing in his mouth, but he didn't, which Sky guessed was his polite nature. She giggled and ripped off another piece, relishing the creamy goodness. It was almost like a cheesecake... but on better bread, and without the overwhelming amount of whipped cream that always found itself on cheesecake. Surfacing from her deep meditation of the wonders of the cheese danish, the girl sipped her strawberry drink once more. She returned her gaze to Eden as he spoke about himself. He was a reader-though she could have guessed that herself. Had she the attention span to piece it all together. She didn't exactly know who Chuck Palahniuk and Jodi Picoult were, but she still nodded anyways. He mentioned his gaming habits, a little bashful it seemed to. Sky had heard of gaming... practically every guy did it. It was a guy thing, and though she could get a pretty good kill streak in COD, she was nothing compared to gamers. In fact, she remembered the time she challenged her boyfriend to a match in the tenth grade, when she had been confident in her skills. In three minutes she had died seventeen times, and killed him once. Thus, needless to say, that's where her gaming adventures had come to an end. When he mentioned his family, something in Sky's mind clicked. She almost blurted out OH. I knew I had heard that name before , but she refrained, settling for a knowing nod. That was cool; not that it mattered much to her. He could have stolen Envy and was actually a hobo for all that it mattered to her. She laughed at his campus remark, and tore off another piece of her danish. It was getting smaller and smaller by the minute. Crap. She reached her hadn up to fix her bangs, bracelets falling further up on her arm with a small jingle. The singing and guitar thing was a nice touch-something she'd always wanted to learn but never had the attention span for. As he finished and leaned back, Skyla smiled, shaking her head. "Not at the moment," She went on as he stole another bite of her danish, smacking his hand away playfully. "You hobo." She teased, putting another strip of pastry in her mouth. "Well, I was born on May tenth." She paused with a smile before going on. "As cliche as it sounds, pink is my favorite color," She motioned to her top, the pale pink striped standing out on the scoop neck tee. "I like to ride. And I also harass the waiters at restaurants." She added, hazel eyes twinkling with deviousity. Waiters hated her guts. It was an odd quirk of her, actually. "I think I'm running out of danish, and I don't get caffeinated drinks often because they make me worse than a kid with ADD." She grimaced at this, putting the last of the food in her mouth. Oh, Lord, the last bite was always the best. "I like to see movies, and for some reason The Notebook always makes me cry. Other than that. though, I enjoy horror films." She really wasn't a hide-in-the-dates-shoulder type of girl. Unless it involved sad plot lines, then she was crying her little eyes out. "I like the rain, and I like to sleep next to people when it thunders at night, because I used to do that with my mom." She hesitated wistfully here, letting her eyes wander around the coffee shop before she returned her gaze to Eden. "My family is pretty well off as well. My dad's a lawyer, and my mom is a world famous cross country jumper." She wanted to add That didn't die like everyone thought., but she left that out. "I love animals, and have a herd at home. 3 dogs, 5 rabbits, and a cat. Plus Dezzy." She paused briefly before continuing. "And I like kissing in the rain... write one down." She teased, shoving Eden playfully. "Now would you get me another danish?"

EDEN CALLUM; When the sun found the moon She was drinking tea in a garden Under the green umbrella trees In the middle of summer ________________________________________________________________________
He saw the recognition flare in her eyes as he spoke of his father, and he was glad she didn't press the subject. He relaxed against the back of his chair, laughing as she swatted his hand away. He tossed the bite of danish up in the air and caught it in his mouth, chewing proudly. Eden was damn good at that; years of practicing with Cheetos while gaming had given him supreme skills at the food-throwing-and-catching-in-your-mouth game. He was king. It was his turn to listen now, and he did so intently, taking another sip from his drink and leaning forward. He nodded and smiled as she indicated her top as a representation of her favorite color. It was a very pretty top, and he especially liked it on her. Eden raised an eyebrow and laughed as she spoke of her waiter-annoying habits. It was something he was definitely going to have to see in action someday. His mind began to wander, thinking of the appropriate amount of time until he could ask her out again. That is had worked this time was a miracle in itself; would she really fall for it again? Eden was fairly sure she would, and it made him smile.
He laughed and nodded agreeably as she mentioned her reaction to caffeine. Eden had exactly the same problem. He had a major jones for Red Bull but exerted massive amounts of self-control not to drink it. He turned into some kind of sugared-up three-year-old when he drank it. Eden kept listening, sipping now and then. He couldn't form an opinion on her movie tastes, being that he had never seen The Notebook. He vaguely thought it had something to do with a guy and a girl and some kind of disease, or something. Maybe he got some gross skin-rash and she left him? Nah, that wasn't it. Something like that though. And he was pretty sure there was a really romantic kissing scene that all the girls in the world were always banging on about. He wasn't too keen on the idea of a chick flick but if Sky recommended it, then he would definitely rent it out and watch it sometime.
He smiled as she said the magic words: "horror movies". Now that was more up Eden's alley. He was a huge fan of zombie apocalypse movies. In his opinion, they were the best genre ever. But he could appreciate all good horror movies, and sometimes even the bad ones. He could practically smell a movie marathon. He smiled at Sky. Movies, death, blood, screaming, popcorn, dim lighting, blankets... it was a perfect romantic atmosphere. In his mind anyway. Eden snapped back to attention as she continued. Sleeping next to someone while it thundered and rained sounded lovely. Eden had never experienced the warmth and safety of having someone else to share your bed with, but he could imagine, and paired with the wonderful noises of a thunderstorm, it sounded like a wonderful idea. Sky's eyes got a little glazed over and she lost concentration, staring off into the distance. Her hesitation made Eden crease his eyebrows together curiously, wondering what it was about that memory of her mother that made her so wistful. He didn't want to pry, however, and was silent until her attention returned to him.
His eyes widened appreciatively and nodded as she spoke of her mom's profession. He had been guessing from Skyla's wistful expression that her mother had died, albeit a long time ago as she hadn't burst into tears or anything dramatic. But it appeared that her mother was very much alive and well; kicking butt on the cross-country circuit, in fact. It was an interesting topic of conversation but definitely a very private one, and Eden was not one to intrude. He smiled jealously as she spoke of all her pets. Eden had always been dying for a puppy as a kid, but his mom hadn't wanted the house to be messed up. Vanessa Callum was very house-proud, as she should be, seeing that her house was gorgeous. It had been featured in a couple home & living magazines; one of those 'how the other half live' type deals. She had been very proud of the photoshoots and made Eden dress in a really lame, rich-kid outfit for the Callum family portrait. It had been one of the most embarrassing experiences of his life, and he had quite a few of them stored up in his memory.
Sky was still chatting away, and he blushed a little as she nudged him. Yeah... about the kissing thing. He was going to have to get on that. The butterflies started up again and he coughed a little. He looked up again as she spoke, and laughed. Sure. He smiled, putting down his drink and standing up. He walked over to the counter and ordered another cheese danish. On second thoughts, he made it two. He was just too hungry, and tiny bites from Skyla's danish wouldn't cut it. They arrived on separate plates and he carried them carefully back to their table, sliding Sky's in front of her with a smile. Sitting down again, he immediately took a bite and nearly swooned. It was cheesy heaven. He swallowed and took a sip of coffee. Tell me how you got into Windsor. He ordered her playfully. He was curious; had she been spotted by head-hunters at a show? He knew that majority of Windsor students had been found by Windsor, excepting him, of course. ________________________________________________________________________

oh, one touch can set it all in motion one word in the perfect moment one chance to take when it comes one life is all that we're given one love to make it worth livin'
The girl leaned back as Eden got up to order another danish for her, glancing around the coffee shop. It was actually quite cozy in here... something about the way the couches were worn and the tables had cheery decorations made in snug. Of course, the place must have been pretty old, there were cracks in the ceiling that had obviously been filled in before. The wall paper on the walls was older, stained faintly with the time in had stayed glued to the buildings walls. Yet none of this took away from the fact the Sky utterly trusted the people in the kitchen to prepare clean food. Odd. As the boy headed back over, she noted that he had two pastries in his possession. Oh, so he had gotten hungry too, eh? She giggled as he handed her one. "They're really good, aren't they?" She affirmed, taking a bite out of hers. She waited until she had swallowed the food before answering his question. "Truthfully, I'm not all too sure. My mom said that it was from nationals last year, and I think I agree. But, still, I m not sure. She said they spotted me and mailed an invite." She paused as he threw a part of the deliciousness up in the air and caught it in his mouth, clapping as he did so. She had always admired people who could do that, seeing as she couldn't. And most likely never would. "What about you? How did you get in here?" Was he spotted at a huge show as well? Sky wanted to know his story. As she looked at him, she could help but let her eyes trail down the part of his torso that was visible. She could still remember him half naked, water running down his chest, hair wet, and.... oh God, she was going to start drooling if she didn't stop this. She wanted to go anywhere with him. The lake, the beach, the mall, whatever. Finally, she caved and spoke quietly. "Why don't we take this conversation to a couch? I think it's much comfier."She didn't add So I can sit by you and just touch you., but she really wanted to keep that to herself, lest she sound like a stalker. Which she most certainly was not. So, grabbing her beverage in one hand, and the remains of her danish in the other, Sky rose. Her skirt had ridden up from her sitting position so she set down her things quickly and pulled it down so she wouldn't look like a whore. Taking her things up once more, she stepped toward Eden, a smile on her face. "Edennnnnn." She drew out his name, liking the way it rolled off of her tongue. "Come on."

EDEN CALLUM; When the sun found the moon She was drinking tea in a garden Under the green umbrella trees In the middle of summer ________________________________________________________________________
Eden nodded emphatically as she noted how wonderful the cheese danishes were. Paired with his caramel latte and the atmosphere of the coffee shop, it was a little slice of heaven. It made his good day even better. Today had been quite a surprise. He had expected it to follow the lines of wake up, exercise Envy, unpack some more, and maybe go for a trail ride or read in the afternoon. Instead his training session had been interrupted by the bubbly brunette that sat opposite him, and they already embarked on a couple adventures together. He had seen the hydro-pool, and raced in the cool waters. He'd come as close to his first kiss as he'd ever gotten. And now he was sitting in a wonderful little coffee shop, with worn but clean furniture and the world's most delicious danishes. The day's events had come as a wonderful shock to Eden, and it was barely the afternoon. He was curious to see what the rest of the day had in store for him.
The danish was disappearing all too quickly, and Eden wasn't ready for it to be gone yet. He stopped eating it and took a sip of his never-ending latte instead. The talking and listening had been so interesting that he'd forgotten about his latte for long periods, only occasionally raising the cup to his lips. He still had about half of it left. He tapped out a soundless rhythm on the knee of his jeans as he listened to Sky. She'd been spotted, then. Eden found it interesting how, out of hundreds of other competitors, at that one particular show, it was Sky who had stood out to the headhunters. It was interesting, but not surprising. The girl was so bright-eyed and wonderful that she would stand out in any crowd. Eden smiled wider at her across the table as her chirpy voice filled the air, lips contorting around the words. Then the question was turned back to him, and he cast his eyes down, smile fading. Ahh, my dad got me in. His voice was soft. Eden wasn't proud of his path into Windsor. He was infinitely glad he was here, but was he supposed to be? If it weren't for his dad's money and influence, would he have ever been chosen on his own accord? My dad thought I should come here, so he pulled a few strings and got me in. I don't really think I deserve to be here, but I am. He looked at Sky, eyes soft and a little sad, and gave a small smile. I'm really glad I am, though. His smile was stronger as he looked at her, making it clear that she was a big part of why he was so glad.
Sky's suggestion made him glance to where the couches were, gathered around a coffee table in another corner of the shop. They were obviously more popular than the tables, but the lunchtime rush had cleared out and they were empty now. He glanced back to her just in time to see her pull down her skirt. Eden raised an eyebrow. It wasn't anything he hadn't seen in the hydro-pool, but somehow it seemed more exciting once she was in clothes and that much skin wasn't meant to be seen. In swimwear everything was pretty much bare, but it was supposed to be that way. Everyday wear was much more decent, and a little slip or wardrobe malfunction was more exciting. Or something. Eden wasn't thinking about that or anything. He gave a little awkward cough and stood up, smiling as she called his name. Skyyyyyy, he mimicked, leading her over to the couches, coffee and danish in hand. He sank down into the comfortable fabric and gave a little sigh of relief. Perching his danish and coffee on the low table in front of them, he repeated his earlier stance of pulling one leg up, only this time he tucked it underneath himself, throwing an arm across the back of the couch. Ahh this was heaven. He smiled, and waited for Sky to join him.
There was a voice, and automatically Eden turned to face it. A strange girl was politely waiting for his attention. When she saw that she had it, she smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Eden noticed the silver dangly earrings she was wearing, and the way they glimmered and sparkled under the lights distracted him so that he missed her words. He tore his gaze off the dancing jewelry and stared at her. Sorry, I missed that, he said apologetically. His face was open and friendly as he waited for her to repeat her words. She cleared her throat and spoke again. I was wondering if you wanted to join me for a drink, she asked again, smiling widely at him. Eden was so shocked he thought he might projectile vomit on her. A drink, like, a drink? As in like a date-type drink? As in the precise thing he was doing with Sky, right now? Eden was completely thrown. This was radically new to him. A girl asking him out? Did girls even do that? His mind began whirring and his mouth opened and closed like a goldfish. The girl gave him an odd look and Eden floundered around, looking for Sky, eyes begging her to help him. ________________________________________________________________________

oh, one touch can set it all in motion one word in the perfect moment one chance to take when it comes one life is all that we're given one love to make it worth livin'
Sky listened as Eden informed her of exactly how he had gotten into Windsor. She didn't say anything as he spoke, but simply had an amused expression on her features. After he had finished, she guided the straw to her drink so it met of lips, where she began sipping lightly on her drink again. God, how she loved frappachinos. They were like a little piece of heaven had fallen down on day into a drink and BAM. Frappachinos were born. Then, after tasting the wonderfully delicious beverage, the owner had taken it to a scientist to make yummy little babies from the DNA from the chunk of heaven. Or at least that was her theory. "Well, obviously your dad thinks you deserve to be here... I think it was really nice of him." Pushing her earlier thoughts aside, the girl smiled at Eden's last sentence, her cheeks threatening to flood that crimson color. They didn't, however, and the only thing Skyla could do was remove the straw from her mouth and raise her head, making eye contact with her companion. It was incredibly sweet of him, and he looked as if he genuinely meant it, too. "Well, I'm glad as well." She let a lopsided grin take over her features as she self consciously smoothed her hair out. It was more out of nervous habit than anything. As she pulled down her skirt-which had wedged itself up in an unconventional manner-she had glanced up at Eden, only to see his eyebrow raised suggestively. A blush coloring her cheeks, she let a strained giggle out, face furrowing in a mixture between amusement and surprise. "Don't think like that." She had said, slapping his chest before turning back to get her stuff. The next thing she had heard was her name being drawn out in the same fashion she had done Eden's. It sounded so nice coming from him. Not exactly the musical chimes like everyone claimed. Maybe that was because Eden had a relatively husky voice; whatever the reason, she liked the way he sounded better than any 'magical wind chimes'. Which, to her at least, sounded like they were all dating homosexuals. Which, on top of being impossible, was rather odd that they would be dating them and not even know. She shook these thoughts away with a grimace, looking down at her drink. It may not have been caffeinated, but the sugar was getting to her. Maybe she should have just had an apple juice or something, anything with less sugar. She raised the cup to eye level and shook it around a little, inspecting it for a few moments. She would be bouncing off the walls soon. Shrugging she touched the straw to her lips and swallowed more of the liquid. Sky had been working on the drink for quite some time, so it was three-fourths gone now. As Eden made his way over to the vacant couches, she followed after him, heels making those sharp, precise noises on the hard floor. Click, Click, Clack. Went the cycle, repeating itself over and over again. Sky prided herself in her walk, not slouching, but rather standing tall. Naturally, her feet almost criss-crossed one another, the way she had walked since she was little. Her mother had said it was a bit flouncy and conceited for such a young girl, but left it alone. Now, at seventeen, she doubted she could walk differently if she tried. Skirt bounced suggestively on her upper thigh, and she walked while sucking on her drink. She watched carefully as Eden sat, making himself comfortable almost immediately. As he slung an arm over the top of the furniture, her stomach fluttered in an unsettling manner in her anticipation. Oh, God, she wanted that arm around her. All of the sudden, like out of freaking nowhere, another girl had appeared in front of him. Almost subconsciously, Sky had narrowed her eyes slightly, slowing her walk as she neared the two. The teenager was close enough to catch the strangers words, and Sky almost choked on her strawberry beverage as she heard the words that came from the girl's mouth. What? She moved her glance to Eden, and his pleading gaze. Was he pleading her to leave so he could have a drink with the girl, who was infinitely prettier than Sky; in her own opinion. Or, was he wanting Sky to get rid of the newcomer? She was about to go with the first one, when she looked at the boy. His sweet personality, his sex appeal; his entire person. And right about there was when jealousy kicked in. Now, Sky tried to be a nice, fair person. And she didn't condone the feeling of jealousy at all. But this time she couldn't shake it. So, with determination, she closed the distance between herself and Eden, putting a smile on her face. There was only one way to get rid of the girl cleanly. She sat down next to him, and so close that their arms were pressed against each other. Or, it was more her arm into his side, but it was generally the same thing. Then, as a final touch, she placed her hand on his knee, and slid it up gently until it lay about mid thigh. "Eden, baby." She cooed, already starting her explanation for her actions in her head, "Didn't you tell her about your girlfriend?" Her expression was amused, as she switched her gaze from Eden to the girl. "It was nice meeting you though." She finished with a smile. After a few moments of deliberating, the girl was walking out the door to the shop. After she had left, Sky stayed in her position for a few more seconds before rising. Bending over to set her things on the table next to Eden's, she walked over to the counter. She had seen a brownie in the girl's hand, and it looked delicious. Fatty, but oh so freaking good. She arrived at the counter, feeling a bit like she was under inspection the way the counter boy's gaze raked over her. She didn't like the way his eyes lingered a bit too long over her chest, and for a few moments she regretted wearing a scoop neck. She self consciously pulled her top up, and ordered a brownie. He got it for her, and when she reached for it, the boy grabbed her hand gently. "Hey. My shift is over. Would you like to go to dinner with me tonight?" His deep voice bounced off her ears, and she looked him in the eye. He was attractive, she'd give him that, but not very endearing. "Um, actually I'm here with someone." She countered, pulling her hand out of his. "If it's not your boyfriend, it doesn't count, sweetheart." She raised an eyebrow in thought. "Well, he-he, um, yeah. He.... is. Him." She stuttered, trying to get the words to come out.Her last word was accopanied with a finger pointed at Eden. Oh, God, what was she getting herself into. Eden was not her boyfriend. Lord knows how much she wanted him to be, but still. The boy behind the counter looked incredulously at her before exiting from behind the counter. He seemed taller now, his long black hair barely covering his eyes. Striding over to Eden, he stopped in front of the boy with disbelief in his eyes. "You're with her?" His tone seemed doubtful. Sky gaped as she trailed after him, stopping behind him and looking at Eden with pleading eyes.

EDEN CALLUM; When the sun found the moon She was drinking tea in a garden Under the green umbrella trees In the middle of summer ________________________________________________________________________
There was a pool, and in it floated social procedures, rituals, and behaviours that most teenagers understood and accepted. Eden was currently drowning in that hypothetical pool. He had not the faintest idea what to do, and was so far flung out of his comfort zone that he felt like he'd landed in Abu Dhabi. Sky looked upset for a moment, and Eden realised that she thought he wanted her to go away and leave them alone. He felt like leaping over the back of the couch and shaking her until she understood. He widened his eyes in a little 'help' gesture and she seemed to understand. Moving lithely, she slid around the couch. Eden watched her helplessly, wondering what she was doing. The girl still stood there, seemingly oblivious of Sky's presence. Eden suddenly felt the couch indent with body weight and he glanced over to see Sky cuddling into his side like she'd belonged there her whole life. Suddenly her body was there and she was warm and her hand was on his leg and oh God he thought he might die or explode or spontaneously combust, or something of the sort. He turned his head and stared at her wildly, completely obtuse as to what she was doing. She was speaking now, her voice playful and light, though her eyes glimmered with jealousy. Girls were unfathomable. They could say one thing, and be feeling something else. Sky's voice was sweeter than sugar as she called Eden 'baby' and he felt like Alice in Wonderland, spinning down the rabbit hole. What? Baby? Was this a new thing, or... and suddenly he realised. Sky was talking to the girl now, She was helping him, getting rid of the weird girl who wanted to have a drink with Eden. Have a drink with a psychiatrist would be more appropriate. Why would you want to spend time with Eden? He still couldn't figure out what had gotten into Sky, and apparently now he was infecting the rest of the female population. It wasn't good. He needed to be stopped.
He stopped noticing his surroundings when Sky's hand began to move. Her hand was on his goddamn leg. And now it was sliding up, the friction between her skin and the fabric of his jeans was so delicious. It made shivers tremor up his spine, lick at the nerves of his neck, set every cell in his body alive. Her hand stopped when it reached his mid-thigh, and Eden let out a little gasp of air. Did she even notice what she was doing? She was so innocent to the effect she had on him, chatting away to the girl still standing there. Eden's fingers on the back of the couch tightened. He was having trouble breathing. The butterflies were going nuts, slamming around his stomach, fluttering up near his vocal cords, sniffing around his brain. And then, suddenly, she was gone. They were both gone. Eden drifted out of the foggy haze that was his current state of mind and looked up to see the other girl leaving the coffee shop and Sky standing up. Something had happened, he wasn't too sure what. He wanted to grab Sky and make her sit next to him again, force her to do the cuddling thing. She bent over and placed her things on the table and then she was off, heels click-clacking on the floor as she approached the counter. Eden's eyes followed her up to the counter and he turned around, facing the opposite wall again. His eyes were wide. He felt electric.
What the hell had just happened? He went over the quick sequence of events again. There had been a girl, and then Sky, and words, and warmth, and then it was over. Eden desperately wanted Sky to come back, sit next to him, press against him, put her hand on his leg. He shook himself a little and leaned forward, picking up his latte and taking a big gulp. The caffeine kicked into him and he started feeling a little bit more normal. He was busy tearing off another bit of danish when a shadow loomed over him. Eagerly thinking it was Sky, he glanced up, huge dorky grin on his face. It faded when he saw the attractive cashier, a disdainful look on his face as he stared down at Eden. The danish was forgotten and Eden leaned back, confused, as to what was going on. Had he not paid the right amount or something? Did he pick up someone else's order. Sky's face appeared over the shoulder of the guy and Eden looked at her, baffled. She had the exact same look on her face as he'd had when the girl appeared. The guy spoke to Eden, his voice doubtful and disbelieving. Eden glanced from Sky to the cashier. What a situation they'd landed in. The counter boy looked as if he'd have no problem ripping Eden from limb to limb; in fact Eden was convinced the act of killing him would barely break out a sweat across the counter boy's smooth forehead. He was staring down at Eden, face doubtful, arms crossed over his apron. You're with her? Eden looked at Sky and here his gaze stayed. He took in her bright eyes, long hair, cheerful smile. Well, it wasn't exactly cheerful at the moment, but he had a good memory. He pictured her laugh, her face when she'd lost the race, her body stepping close to his in the water, her hand on his leg. A smile began forming on his lips, eyes still trained on her. Yeah, he was. He was with her. For some obscene reason, Sky was here with him, and not anyone else. Eden intended things to remain that way for a long time. He didn't take his eyes off Sky as he answered the disdainful counter boy. Yeah. I am. His voice conveyed his own disbelief at the fact, and he smiled at her, eyes bright under black frames. ________________________________________________________________________

oh, one touch can set it all in motion one word in the perfect moment one chance to take when it comes one life is all that we're given one love to make it worth livin'
The only thing Sky could thing about as she was pressed into Eden's side was, Oh, God. He's amazing. It was rather hard to concentrate of the girl who Sky was practically telling to piss off, though in a more polite way. Of course, translated by a girl, her words meant something along the lines of 'He's mine, bitch'. Thus, the girl had left quickly, the sickly sweet words forewarning her that it was the best decision on her behalf. After she had been harassed by the perverted counter boy, Eden was pretty much her only hope. Lest she have to slap the hell out of the stranger. Nonetheless, as she looked at Eden, her eyes large and similar to those a doe makes when caught in the headlights, she was depending on him. Of course, it was for something as meager as replying with a simple answer, but still. It was dependence all the same. As her companion looked up at the counter boy with a large grin on his face, she couldn't help but to giggle quietly. He looked adorable as his expression faded and was replaced by something close to confusion. At the counter boy's harsh words, he switched his gaze to Sky, seeming to study her intensely for a few moments. Oh, God. He was going to say no. What the hell was she going to do? Her mind was frantic for a few seconds before he spoke, his eyes still glued to her form. At his words, Sky blushed. Not just a tickle me pink, lightly dusted on false blush. A full blown, red-as-a-tomato blush that almost engorged her whole face. The attractive young just raised his eyebrows and waved a dismissive hand at the boy. He turned to leave, stopping as he passed by Sky, bending towards her to whisper in her ear. "Fine. Hit me up when you lose the dork." The teenagers face screwed up with disgust and she turned her cheek to him as he strode out the front door, the chime sounding cheerly in the small shop. Sky settled her sights on Eden, smiling as she walked toward him. She reached the couch and sat, this time so that they weren't touching at all. And this, is where the rambling began. "Oh, God. I'm so sorry. Like, had to cuddle with you and stuff, and it was to get the stupid girl away, so again, I'm sorry. And I have to apologize for calling myself your girlfriend, because that isn't the case here, and that with the whole hand on the knee thing was just, err. You know. And then again, with that douche of a boy. It was just so awkward, you know. He kept looking at my chest, and that made me self conscious, and so I used you, and I'm glad I did because your really nice and actually look at my face when I'm talking to you, so that makes me like you. But, you know. And then I'm.... just. Um, sorry. Heh heh." She stopped to take a breath, her whole spiel done. She watched him carefully, eyes wide. Oh, God. She wanted to press against him, to sit in his freaking lap, to have him hold her, and... she stopped as she gave a little involuntary shiver. Partially from her thought and partially from the temperature of the coffee shop. It had been alot warmer than when they first had arrived. Glancing around, Sky noticed that they were the only ones in the shop, save for an old couple at the back, eating in silence. The lunch rush was over and everyone was done with their coffee break. Sighing she turned back to Eden. "I guess what I'm trying to say is... I got jealous. And, then I acted on impulse. And, um, I like you. I I want us to do more than minor things like touching and crap." Her words came out semi-nervous, and she reached down to pick up her drink. Bringing the straw to her lips, Sky drank slowly, and then traded the cup for her danish. After ripping off a piece, she turned back to Eden.

EDEN CALLUM; When the sun found the moon She was drinking tea in a garden Under the green umbrella trees In the middle of summer ________________________________________________________________________
His smile widened as he saw the color rush into her cheeks. Sky's face almost immediately turned a bright red at his words. It was incredibly cute. He watched her still, even as the counter boy made a disgusted noise and muttered something to Sky. She turned her face away and the boy left, the bell jingling cheerfully in the near-empty shop. There was little noise now, the coffee machines still whirring and the soft chatter of the workers. There was the scrape of cutlery on plates as an old couple slowly and steadily marched through their meals. Sky and Eden were practically alone; everyone else in the coffee shop were wrapped up in their own business. Eden wasn't exactly sure when the other customers had left, but he was glad they were finally alone once again.
The boy and girl had now been dispersed of, and Sky dropped to the couch, face still red and eyes wide. He listened to her calmly as she began rambling, voice high and nervous. His face was serene as he watched her. He hadn't really seen Sky flustered before; it was nice. He liked not being the awkward one, for once. Half of his brain was listening to her and the other half was screaming, COME HERE. Eden couldn't understand why she was so far away now. Before had been right, all close and warm, and this distance was wrong. Wrong things needed to be set right. He tuned in to her again. She was still off on her long ramble, and a smile slid across Eden's lips again. She was so cute. Why was she apologising? She had helped him out of a sticky situation, and it wasn't her fault the counter boy found her attractive. He slid a little bit closer to her on the couch, keeping his distance still. She was chattering about how the boy had looked at her chest and it had made her feel weird, and it took supreme effort on Eden's behalf to not let his eyes slide down those extra centimeters. He locked his eyes onto hers, willing himself not to look down. It would ruin all the nice-guy cred he'd established with her if he did, even though he desperately wanted to. She moved off the topic and he relaxed, sliding a little bit closer.
She took a breath and paused. Eden didn't say anything. He had the feeling she wasn't quite finished. Sky shivered a little and he was going to offer her his jacket before he realised he wasn't wearing one. The temperature wasn't quite as hot as it had been when they were riding, but it was still warm enough. He didn't know why she was shivering, but he had a feeling it had something to do with the way she was looking at him. He kept his silence, watching her with calm eyes. For once, Eden wasn't going to run his mouth. He would let Sky have her moment. Sure enough, after the pause, she started up again. It made him smile. The coffee was definitely kicking in now. Sky's mouth wouldn't stop and his foot was bouncing against the floor in a frenetic way. He felt the butterflies start stirring again as Sky continued. Eden's mouth fell open slightly as she boldly came out with it. Okay, wow. There it was. It was one thing to feel the connection between them, it was another thing to name it. Eden stared at her, eyes following her movements as she nervously sipped her drink and then turned to him again, a bite of danish in her hands.
Without any real thought he moved closer. Their legs were touching. His arm was still over the back of the couch, and he moved it to pick up a lock of her hair, twining it in his fingers curiously. It was magically soft. He moved his gaze from the shiny strands to her eyes, wide and nervous, and smiled. The butterflies were surprisingly gentle, fluttering calmly around his stomach. He felt calm, and he leaned in until their lips were just about to touch. Suddenly Eden realised what he was doing. He was about to kiss a girl. The butterflies realised too and started jumping about more anxiously than ever. He pulled back and swallowed, hard. He thought he might vomit, or die, or run around screaming. What if Sky said no? That was silly, he instantly reasoned, she had just basically told him yes. What if he bit her? What if he sank his teeth into her lip somehow and she started bleeding? Eden tried to remember if there were napkins on the table. He started calculating how far it was to the hospital and how was the best way to say 'sorry I made you bleed' before he realised he hadn't even kissed her yet, let alone bitten her and drawn blood. Just do it, he told himself. God, that was so much easier said than done. First kisses, what's more nerve-racking than that? There wasn't a single experience that was more terrifying, and yet everyone had somehow done it. It won't be an experience at all unless you FUCKING DO IT, his brain screamed. Eden breathed carefully. He was going to do it. He was going to do it.
He did it. He leaned in, and kissed her. It was so much simpler than he thought it would be. Instinct guided him and he pressed his lips to hers, carefully, his bottom lip sliding into the gap between hers. It was sweet, and warm, and a little wet. Sky tasted of frappachino and strawberry flavouring and summer. It was intoxicating, and Eden kept his mouth on hers for several seconds before pulling away. He'd done it. His first kiss. He smiled. What a fucking great day this was. They were still close together, his hand was still in her hair, and the kiss still hung in the air between them. He was going to do it again, soon, but for now he just wanted to admire the first one. His first. Their first. His smile was so big he thought his face might break. He inhaled, breathing in the sweet scent of her.
In the corner, the old couple looked over at the intwinted teenagers, and smiled. The old man reached over and took his wife's hand over the table. She smiled at him, and they continued eating, one hand still clutched in the others'. ________________________________________________________________________

oh, one touch can set it all in motion one word in the perfect moment one chance to take when it comes one life is all that we're given one love to make it worth livin'
The whole time Sky was talking, she noted how Eden was silent, facial expression calm and gaze placid. It soothed her nervous feelings and by the time she had finished talking, she was pretty much calm. On another note, the girl had noticed that even when she mentioned another guy taking a glance at her chest, Eden's eyes hadn't flickered down involuntarily, not even for a moment. Not like she would really mind much if it was Eden... he was the person of her affection at the moment. Though she didn't let on to him that she noticed his movements, the girl knew that he was scooting closer to her periodically. She had like being pressed to his side, her hand laying on his leg in that suggestive place. Only his hand should have been on her leg, and he should have been kissing her. It was the true declaration of affection. ...Okay, so maybe not, but that's what Sky wanted, not that they could really do anything here, in a public place. Well, they could, but that would be rather uncouth. She'd rather rendezvous at his place. She grinned at this thought, a blush touching her cheeks. Naughty. As Eden moved so that their legs were touching, she jumped a little, surprised at the tingles that shot up her legs. His jeans were warm against her skin, the rough material oddly soft. She turned toward him and smiled, swallowing the last of her danish. She felt his fingers twirling her hair gently, as the boy focused on her. As her companion leaned in, Sky's breath hitched in her throat, anticipating the warmth of his lips on hers. Yet, when it didn't come, she looked at him, not even noticing that she had closed her eyes. He seemed to hesitate, and was about to pull away because she thought he had decided against it and was thinking of a way to let her down gently. And that's when he did it. The girl's eyes widened in surprise, but quickly fluttered shut as she felt his soft lips meld to her own. She leaned into him, smiling slightly as she felt his hands tangling themselves in her hair. She pressed her hands lightly to his chest, one hand gripping his shirt to pull him closer. The kiss was sweet, and soft, tasting like caramel lattes, and cheese danishes. It was delicious. His lips were warm and moist against hers, which was driving her crazy. As Eden pulled away, she inhaled deeply, his musky scent flooding her senses. Opening her eyes slowly, she looked at him without saying anything. She could kiss him forever. Gentle caresses, soft lips, warm bodies, hell. She was addicted. Her stomach fluttered, and she smiled at the feeling, matching Eden's facial expression. The air surrounding them was buzzing with the first kiss vibe-and Eden's face was still in close proximity. He hadn't removed his hand from her head, so Sky let go of his shirt and instead kept her hands limp on his chest. Suddenly, the realization that it was Eden's first kiss, and she smiled at him, waiting a moment before speaking. "So tell me, Mr. Callum. How was that for a first kiss?" Her words soft, and only intended for him. Her eyes locked with his, she gently raised her hand to run it slowly through his silky brown hair. Oh God, she'd wanted to do that for a while now. "Oh God, I've wanted to do that for awhile now." She whispered absently, shuffling through his hair softly. "Eden, do you want to have a sleepover?" Her words taunting, hazel eyes gleaming with her mischief.

EDEN CALLUM; When the sun found the moon She was drinking tea in a garden Under the green umbrella trees In the middle of summer ________________________________________________________________________
Eden felt like dancing. If only everyone at his old high school could see him now. The dorky kid in the back of the classroom was sitting here with a gorgeous girl, being smoother than silk. The butterflies in his stomach were singing to him now. It was impossible that butterflies could sing, and yet they were, sitting calmly in his stomach and singing Eden's praises. His blood rushed through his veins excitedly and his heart pounded steadily. He felt euphoric. Why the hell hadn't he done this earlier?
Sky's voice filled his ears and he smiled at her words. He gave a little laugh. It was pretty good. He smiled as her fingers came up into his hair, softly entwining in the strands. Pretty damn good. He still couldn't believe he'd had the courage to actually do it. Eden had been entirely convinced that he would go through life a kissless virgin. He'd had no doubt that he would end up being the 40 year-old-virgin from that Steve Carrell movie. He had been a little resigned to the fact, and he'd actually become quite comfortable with his destiny. He could go through life riding Envy, playing xbox and reading Palahniuk. It wasn't a bright future, but it was comfortable. Now Eden's plans had changed. It was like taking this one step taught him that he actually could do things he put his mind to. He wanted to take Envy to the top, or at least as close to the top as they could get. If Eden could kiss a girl, he could do anything.
He sat back a little now, letting his hand fall from her hair. They were still touching, his body aligned against hers on the couch. He leaned forward and wrapped his hand around his still-warm latte, taking a sip. He felt much calmer now. Sky was speaking again, her voice mischievous, and Eden nearly choked on his caramel latte. Have a sleepover? His mind was filled with images of pillow fights, midnight feasts, and Truth or Dare. Eden was confused momentarily, before he caught the gleam in Sky's eye. Ohh. That kind of sleepover. His palms started sweating and he stuttered a little, his voice pitchy. Oh, God. Not again. He'd just managed to overcome being a sweat, geeky loser around Sky, and now it was happening again. He took another gulp of his latte and settled his nerves a little. Uh... o-okay. Yeah. He smiled as he realised it would mean more time with Sky. Yeah. Eden re-affirmed himself, patting her on the knee agreeably. He drained his latte and finished off his danish in three quick bites. Standing up, he held out a hand for Sky to pull herself up with. His smile was wide and his eyes bright behind their frames as he waited. Their business at the coffee shop was now done. It was time to move elsewhere, and Eden smiled. He didn't care where they went. He would go anywhere with Sky, for as long as she would allow him. It was a nice feeling. ________________________________________________________________________

oh, one touch can set it all in motion one word in the perfect moment one chance to take when it comes one life is all that we're given one love to make it worth livin'
Sky laughed quietly at Eden's words. It had been pretty damn good, hadn't it? And they had done it in such a public area. It wasn't like they were doing anything more than kissing, but still. Anybody could walk in on them. It was a rather exciting addition to the hype of kissing. The teenager smiled at him, thinking back to the adventure she had been on today. Somehow, she had met a sweet, sexy, clumsy boy by the name of Eden, and his gorgeous mare, Envy. They had gone to the hydro-pool, and practically seen each other naked. Which brought back memories of Eden shirtless. Oh, God. She didn't need to go on that spill again. And then, the same boy had asked her to grab some coffee with him. They had, and then she had gotten jealous when a girl asked Eden out, of course then roles had been reversed. She had it out for that douche of a counter boy and then had kissed Eden. It sounded sort of like a cliche movie, in a way. Weird. As Eden leaned out of their embrace, Sky followed suit, retracting her hand to her lap and pulling her other one out of Eden's hair. He leaned forward to snag his drink and danish while she sat still, save for when she tucked a thin strand of hair behind her ear. She watched Eden's reaction to her sleepover idea and giggled softly, amused by his nervous actions. The boy was cutest when he was nervous, stuttering, eyes wide. Finally, after what seemed like ages to the girl, he agreed, eyes bright from behind his glasses. As he stood, she leaned forward to grab her trash off of the coffee table, and was surprised to look up and see Eden holding a hand out to help her. Smiling, she took it, relishing the warmth, and stood, pulling down her skirt and smoothing out her shirt. Not letting go of his hand, she led him to the trash can, where she dumped her trash. It was then that she looked at him. "So, I guess I'll just get changed and head to your place?" She paused before continuing. "Well, actually don't even know what room you're in so... just, um. Come with me to my place and then we can go to yours so I won' get lost?" She suggested, smiling up at the boy. Sky was terrible with directions.
